Question about Movie Thundercracker

Postby Wes Crayon » Sat Oct 27, 2007 7:17 pm

For some reason I'm never able to get searches to work in the seibertron forums, so forgive me if this has come up before -- but are Thundercracker's forearms supposed to be this wobbly? I mean, it would make sense given that they're supposed to rotate in tandem with the wheels, but it still strikes me as kinda odd -- wanted to make sure I'm not the only one with this problem. Thanks!

Do you have movie Starscream as well? The rotating turrets in his forearms are indeed kind of loose and inserted missiles have a tendency of shooting out at the slightest touch. I don't know if Thundercracker is more loose than Starscream, but SS does have slight wobbly issues in his turrets.

I don't have movie Starscream, but yeah I imagine if he has kinda wobbly arms I imagine Thundercracker would have them as well. They're not SUPER wobbly or anything, but they are wiggly enough to make me wonder about QC issues -- hence the question.

So given your answers I'll assume the wobbling is normal and not run screaming back to Walmart tomorrow. :)

it's a little wiggly. the bigger problem for me is that one of his legs doesn't "ratchet" properly. i can get him to stand, but it is a little annoying.

The arms on all three of mine are pretty snug. Both the G1 Starscream and Thundercracker's lower legs pop off when I try to bend the knees back. As far as the missles firing easily, I flipped that little plate on the forearms back and now it doesn't seem to be as big of a problem.
