Hi there. I have a question that has been bugging me. A month or so ago, Two rumors were reported that Dino/Mirage and Wheeljack/Que Deluxe's would be released, following a rumor that in 2012 that Leader class Megatron and Shockwave. Since then, Hasbro announced that the DOTM line would be all on shelves by December, with no follow up line, and Only Wheeljack has been confirmed. So I just want to know if these 3 rumored figures will be released, or if they are known to no longer be slated for release due to Hasbro's decision to end the line and focus on TF:Prime. Thanks in advance :)

Only time will tell. I highly doubt a line that's riding the coattails of a successful movie will shut down it's toy line 6 months after. Hasn't happened in the past two movies and I doubt it'll happen now.

Any DOTM toys shown at either botcon 2011 or SDCC 2011,Will most likely receive a release in stores & on-line. hopefully dino/mirage & wheeljack/que won't be rare to find in stores like RTS Wreckgar,G-2 Prime & perceptor.

It's probably a good thing to play it safe & pre-order the last wave or last waves of any toy line on-line. like when HTS.com or BBTS.com puts up the pre-orders.

As far as the rumors about their being a DOTM Leader sized Megatron & DOTM Shockwave. these are totally un-confirmed rumors,no on-line pics of proto types & no hasbro/takara official confirmation.

I personally am satisfied with the DOTM Voyager megatron & I didn't like dotm voyager shockwave. So I DON'T want hasbro/takara to create leader sized versions of these.

With anything Hasbro/Takara does, their always on a budget, have limited resources, limited man power & limited labor. I'd much rather Hasbro/Takara take all the resources/money/labor/man power & create TF Prime leader sized toys or Generations leader sized TF toys.

At best If hasbro/takara creates 1 or 2 more DOTM Leader sized TF toys. I want them to be non-movie character TF toys like as follows: Masterforce overlord,Blitzwing tripple changer. Tidalwave aircraft carrier or Sixshot.

The USA economy was better & stronger for the last 2 TF live action movies. People normally don't waste money on LUXURY items like toys when a country's econonmy & un-employed job rate is so high. because their afraid their gonna lose their jobs next or not get a raise. so people hoard their money, spend less & only buy the stuff they need to survive. about 12% of americans are currently un-employed so their most likely not buying luxury items like toys right now.

With Gasoline being tripple the price right now then it was in 2006. people aren't driving around that much to the stores. people are budgeting their car trips to save gas & traveling less to the stores.

perhaps hasbro wants to avoid the self warmer & peg warmer year they experienced in 2010 & the first 6 months of the 2011 TF toy year.

sales according to hasbro's quartly statements they post on the internet & elsewhere. were way down for transformers in the 2010 year & in the first 2 quarters of the 2011TF toy year. things picked up a lot for hasbro's TF 3RD quarter in 2011 due to the DOTM toys being new & the movie being in theathres.

It sure seems like Hasbro's/Takara's newest plan is as follows: create a TF toy line while the hype/excitement/media is their. then quickly cancel it when the hype/excitement/media is no longer their or greatly reduced.

At best,It's a given that Hasbro's TF toy line will experience a great christmas season. due to the DVD release & due to parents over buying their kids anything they want for christmas. It's worth mentioning that every company receives the most profits during the christmas buying season.

At best it seems like Hasbro's strategy with the DOTM toys is to repaint almost every DOTM toy mold a few times to get the most profit out of the molds.
