I d that too, its one of the niceties of collector friendly boxes like the re-issue ones.
I have my re-issue Thundercracker, and my re-issue Tracks in their boxes, I take them out to transform them, and then put them back in. It also aids in storage, since I can place them on the bookcase, and they take a bit more space than a thick book.
Also have my Original Takara Cheetas in is his box, which is also very collector friendly.

In my opinion Transfomrers are meant to be freed from their plastic and cardboard prisons and enjoyed. I don't keep anything MISB. Keeping it in sealed box just prevents you from enjoying the figure.
Collection Count: Just enough G1 & Classics to make this look good!

There are some toys that you might be able to get away with leaving them MISB, Transformers isn't one of them. If you leave it in the box, it's like displaying half the toy. Transformers by their very nature, almost require you to take them out of their box.

I don't keep them MISB, I do open them up, and play with them. I just like the fact that I can put them back in.
Unlike Hasbro's weird shaped bubbles, and boxes, where once its out its out.
But yeah, I see no real reason to keeping them sealed. Its like buying a car, and not driving it, because you want to keep the New car smell inside, in case you decide to sell it down the line.

I am curious to know what kind of jobs people have that they can go and buy 2-3 versions of the same toy, assuming you do this with the majority of the figures you own.
