Ok Sauron is huge but Darth has the force. Ill say Sauron just because hes bigger.

Vader would own Sauron.

If Sauron has the One Ring, he would snap Vader like a twig.

Think sauron would be in for a suprise when he swings his mace and it comes back in 2 pieces.

Vader would destroy Sauron. Vader would you the force choke on him at the same time as dicing Sauron to bits with his Lightsaber and for those of youy who says Vader can't do both at the same time you are mistaken in the book episode 2 Attack of the Clones Vader/Anakin used the force against Count Duko while dualing with the light sabers Also he used it against Luke during their Bespin city lightsaber dual in Empire strikes back. So yes Vader wins this one.

The ability of the one ring is insignificant compared to the power of the force. also, I find your lack of faith disturbing.

You know it get's lame to think that you guys think that Vader would even need the "force choke" to win. Can't you think of ANY other way Vader would win? I mean really.

Oh and I think Vader would win WITHOUT the lame, over used, force choke.

i agree with the over use of force choke whenever vader is concerned. im as big a star wars fan as anyone, i even have a gold plated scale replica of the lightsaber sidious used in ep 3, but it seems any vader fans that see him in a fight use that as the be all end all. there is alot more to him than that, check him out in action with luke in esb. whats the setting? on the battlefield would be good, vader could pummel sauron with his own men, like he did luke with random objects in cloud city.

and although hes nothing compaired to what he used to be in terms of speed, he still has alot of skill, and even more strength. he was describes as tearing wookiees apart with his bare hands like they were stuffed animals in the rise of vader novel. and wookiees are known to tear peoples arms out of their sockets, so its a pretty decent feat. i dont know enough about sauron though to really vote for anyone here. he didnt look too impressive when he was fighting though.

Even with the One Ring, we can safely say Vader's saber would finish him off quickly enough.

Vader would win with a force(d) fart

With the Ring, Sauron can switch between physical form and spiritual form. Vader can't hurt him. Sauron has telekinesis a lot like Vader, Saruman, etc. I think that Sauron would win eventually but there would be plenty of collateral damage.
