Shockwave

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Man if only someone wanted to color it.

The B&W looks fine. Giving it a classic feel.

Since i posted this original thread like 2 weeks ago, all I've really needed was like 30 minutes to fin this drawing. I still haven't even found five of them 30 minutes (at least not when I've have my art supplies with me). Bear with me. Art STILL coming...

Great, can't wait to get to work on the finished piece. I'm going to try & do a digital version AND a painted-by-hand version if that's cool with you. I can really imagine this with the washy effect you can get from water colours.
Take your time though.

I might have a go colouring him too.
It's been ages since I've coloured anything, and I don't think I've ever coloured TF art before.

[edit]
I tried colouring the WIP pic.
Here's the result:

Not happy with how the tube turned out though...

It's looking more and more alive.

How did you do the color shadings?

Okay, so I'm running behind. But, I have made progress. Used my light box to transfer the sketch of Shockwave to the actual bristol board. I'm almost done re-rendering him. Plus, I have Grimlock penciled in on the panel below. Hoping to post a nice scan very soon.

Well, it will be once the art progresses into later panels. Right now, it's just Shockwave and Grimlock. Which, BTW, the art for each of them is done. Now, just need to scan...

Very nice. I like the realism of Grimlock! I'm eager to see how you're gonna transform him!
