And that's the problem I've having with most of the suggestions I'm seeing - they're far too specific to be valuable to anyone but hardcore (really hardcore) collectors, so I doubt they'd be particularly viable.
I will back the Prime/Magnus trailers, natch - it probably won't happen, but it would be cool as hell.

The one I definitely like is the weapon pack. Not specific-looking weapons, but ones like they'd be grabbed out of the armoury that anyone could use. And since most TFs share the same 5mm hand holes, it'd be perfectly suitable for figs of most lines, too.

To make it even easier, I can think of a few existing weapons that would be great for reproducing as generics, including the cannons (not the smokestack ones) from the Micromaster Battlefield Headquarters, and the machine guns from Skyhopper and Groundshaker. And Armada Sideswipe's weapons (you knew he was useful for something) - I use the pistols for the Classic BB/CJ mould, as one of them fits perfectly between the arms in vehicle mode.

Matter of fact, I actually sent a letter to Hsbro years ago when I was a kid (probably about '86-87) suggesting weapons packs for the Targetmaster figs, and individual Nebulans. That way if you had the normal fig, you could just get the Nebulan to have the Targetmaster version too, and if you had the Targetmaster version, you could get a pack with all the original weapons. 'Course, that was years before I found out they retooled the hands for the Targetmaster versions.

Yeah, I know. I do that with the Prowl/Checkpoint 2-pack (crowd control mode!) but it would be nice to have actual hands too.

For the most part I don't really like that particular combination gimmick anyway. Inferno + Prowl pants looks good, but otherwise they're pretty clunky.

Dude if you make a Pandatron i want one as well!!! If it can be cast in Plastic and made to transform that would be cool. but if it's just a kitbash, let's find a bear body that would work...I would buy one of what ya need to help get it made...so both of us can have the same thing to show off!! Classics Megatron head would be perfect.. and we just need a good pair of arms, chest and legs, the bear parts can be non movable in alt mode as long as he's got good articulation in bot mode..

kinda like the old hide under a barrel trick, move when no one's looking, then sit down with the barrel over you when your spotted..

Anyways.. isn't there a beast Wars bear figure out there that we could buy and cannibalise into Pandatron??

I just want a trailer for Movie Leader Prime. I know he didn't have one in the movie, but it sure would be dope IMO.

Alot of these ideas come way too late to implement. Well, pie in the sky ...

1) Coronation Starscream gear. His death was my favorite part of the origonal movie for me as a kid (yeah, I hated Starscream then).

2) A seperate MP trailer for MP Prime ... with roller ...

3) Energon cubes. A nice, official set.

4) MP Magnus armor.

Actually, that's all I'd really want...

Well What i was thinking was that the Armor Riot Gear would be specifically for voyager size classes and be made as an adjustable over the chest plate thing....kinda like how the extra armor fits on Optimus Prime from RID.. his trailer kinda sets on his chest and his shoulder pads snap on.. only in this case the shoulder pads are part of the armor and have a hinge that allos for movement, and also positioning of missiles.. neat huh..? the one size would be for Voyagers and Deluxes.. the helmet, could have the face plate molded in the autobot symbol but in 3D so that if a Kitbasher descided he could make it into a mask that looks like a scary Autobot face!! that would go really cool with the riot gear outfit... destroy the enemies will, then crush their bones!!

Just a pack of general weapons; blades, swords, Axes, guns rifles etc, some with firing missiles would be nice too.

Seeing as the toys from the A/E/C series have a standard sized holes in the hands it would be easy enough to fix up.

The extra weapons packs that you could buy for G.I. Joes back in the day rocked, I'd love to see something like that for TF's.

QFT. All I really want is an E-Megatron sword, a few other weapons based off ones we've seen in the shows or comics. As well as a variety of guns, like the ones Rattrap and Dinobot used. There are so many great figures that don't have weapons. And not just Classics BB & CJ. Imagine how awesome E-Sharkticon would if he had some kind jagged sword and a cool rifle. Not to mention a better color scheme. I gave him PM Primes rifles and he looks sick.

I wonder if Hasbro had bad luck with the GI Joe accessory packs and they didn't sell very well. I remember having several sets of the weapons from those packs. Sometimes they were re-colored and looked better than the original. The other plus was that some of the accessories that came with the figures would break or get lost.

I would kind of like a winch for Alternators Hound. It could transform into a grappling hook. It would also be great if they could figure out a way to mount a gun in the backseat like the G1 version did. The gun would then double as extra weapon for Hound in bot mode.

This whole thread made me think about stuff like the GI Joe Bases and stuff. Transformers never really had a base playset like GI Joe or like He-Man had Castle Greyskull. The closest thing to a Transformers base that was ever made is like Fort Max or something, of course now that i think about it, with all the scale problems the Transformer line has had, a base is impossible. Blaster is like two times taller than Prime and ten times taller than Bumblebee. Trying to make a base for figures like that is almost impossible. It's a little more reasonable for figures now since they have more finite sizes like scout, deluxe, voyager, etc.

Evergon Doomlock has the best weaponry for Sharkticon IMO.

While it provides some interesting possibilities and adds some cool accessories to several transformers... i see this as the biggest shelfwarmer. period. end of story.

didn't kenner do this for star wars a while back? that was seriously awesome! YES for TF accessory packs!!!!

you know another route with accessory packs could be additional defense weapons..like shields with autobot symbols on them, and swords or decepticon swords, specifically made for baddies...

visors, googles, and foot wear, like extra heightened rocket boots for certain transformers.. they could picture different bots on the back that fit that design.. or make it so the rocket boots hug the legs and wrap around the feet like Cybertron Optimus Prime has..

The Transformers Movie toys could have accessories as well..

Gun turrets, Medical packs for ratchet to pull out tools.. and repair bay type playset.. Hologram Optimus and Megatron's for communication scenerios..

Do you mean like the old accesory packs they used to sell for GI Joes, with all the extra guns and backpacks and stuff? Yes, emphatically they should sell those, if for no other reason than to weapon-up the largely weaponless figures of recent lines.

Hmm. Still, bear in mind how different each individual fig is. Pick any two Voyagers, for instance, and they'll have different chestplates, with various lumps sticking out, different widths, and most likely a bunch of kibble on the back. And their heads are all different sizes, too. Any piece of armour that could fit more than two or three figs would have to be really adjustable, and offhand I can't think of a practical way to do it.
On top of that, while it's a nice idea, it doesn't really have any reason - who would actually buy it? It's not even something lifted from the cartoons or anything. There's no built-in audience.
The same goes for the other suggestions like goggles and rocket boots.

They need to standardize the hands and the missiles. Oh god I wish they standardized missiles. If all tf's had the same sized holes in their hands their weapons could be interchangeable. At least deluxes should be compatible with deluxes and voyagers' with other voyager class weapons.

I'd like to see a pack of various items for the masterpiece line much like what already happened with Masterpiece Prime or the Mega SCF figures.

At the moment I'm using the Laserbeak from the Megatron Mega SCF to perch on the shoulder of MP-06, and I'd also use the pistol from MP Prime if I owned it, but I won't buy a prime just for the sake of getting the pistol.

A set of small human figures would be cool too, much like the Dr. Arkeville with the MP Seekers or the Star Wars TF pilots. They could be used in scenario displays, such as various forms of abuse at the hands of the Decepticons. ;P

Oh, and don't forget to throw in a few Energon cubes.

I would have to say place it on the upcoming classics silver streak and Prowl.. that would be really cool!!! they are cops already, so why not give them their own special gear.. and if for some reason one of those outfits fit another autobot, then so be it.. oh and to clarify the earlier post.. the face shield would be clear plastic but molded in the shape of the autobot symbol..the shoulder pads would be able to move up on the hinge, and a missile placed underneath, much the same way Blackout's shoulders come up and missiles plug in..

I say Silver streak and Prowl, because that way the gear has a theme regardless of cartoon support, and maybe IDW would take a stab at making an armored up version of them in the comics based on this cool battle accessory upgrade..hmmmmm...

Hasbro can call them upgrade packs..

Has anyone seen the Gundam 8th MS Team backpacks? they are cool boxes on the backs of Gundams that house weapons storage, that would be cool for the armor chest plate to have a hook up for one of those back packs and also be interchangeable with a rocket pack..

Or Hasbro could get the Revoltech line here in the states WITHOUT touching a thing on em since their perfect and we'd have those lil guys for the guns and such, sure they won't be able to transform but meh, doesn't matter really. Some of us like the characters more then the actual transformation. =D

I would love a lot of the accessory packs that people have posted. There is no question whether or not I would buy them. Of course I would.

Although we need sword packs for all the different lines. The only way to make transforming robots better is to give them swords!
