On topic, I did find a Leader Brawl today(and sadly The Fallen which I just over payed BBTS for) and got him because thats what I do when I see a new bot.
I wasn't looking forward to this figure, but looking at him in the package, I saw alot of potential. I got him home and he was easy to get out of the box. A couple parts fell off, but that isn't uncommon.
The first thing I thought of though as I started to handle him was Armada Megatron. Not just because of the gun on his side, but mainly because of all the unnessicary noises happening at the same time.
Still, batteries can be removed, and he is a nice looking bot!
The transformation however sucks. Normaly I'm a fan of switches and springs, and he has plenty! Unfortunatly, none of them hold in place well, so once a pannel is set, it tends to pop back out and you have to realign most of him all over agin!
The head is the worst as it is a hair trigger spring clip that keeps it in place in alt mode. It looks like the 2 bars on the front of the tank should fold up to give it support, but they are to long to lock anything in place.
Once I finaly got him changed, I gently set him down, and he sprang apart like a game of Perfection!
As for the weapons, I'd give them 70/30 on the pro side, the only things I don't like are the clear parts, the dual guns on top of the turret keep poping off, as well as the arm blades, and the mine sweepers just make me think he has hairy nipples.
However most of the weapon gimmicks work and look good, including the hidden blades on his shins that I found just now!
In short, a very cool robot, but a pretty cheesy Transformer, I'd recomend spending your money on either Prime or Megs in this class, and the upcoming repaint, unless retooled is out of the question for me!

Liege I'm glad to hear it was not just mine that did that but sorry that yours does too.
What bugs me is there are some really creative parts to the tranformation, but the end parts to finish it up, do not stay in place. The springs are stronger than the clips, so the last piece of tread cover constantly flips back on both sides. And the head thing. Doesn't stay low enough, doesn't lock in...
Blah, I'm going to sell him to some kid who wants one at the con this month. Megatron too.
Prime is the best leader size so far to me, and I am not by any means in love with him either.

Yeah, great bot mode, but the alt for the price is a rip!
I can see how they wanted to give us something itricate and great, but it just isn't working out.
I see how the last iece of the side pannels is supose to hold the front end together, and than be releases by pushing the headlights, but its to sensative, and there's no clip to keep those pannels in place.
I may keep him as a drone, or return him for something else, maybe some deluxes, or voyagers. Hell I got him at Target, so I could always put it towards a new grill as they are on clearance
But either way, I'm done with this figure and this mold, and it's sad because with just a little more effort, this could be one of the best bots ever!
