He does look kinda small next to Bumbles.

well, both Dropkick and Longarm are out of scale with the rest of the deluxes (seeing that they're both pickup trucks), but i doubt if they're going to be more fun (and playable) when upped to voyager class. 8)

Hasbro never cares about scale, I think the Beast Machines line has proven that.

pretty much all medium trucks like pick ups, tow trucks, and suvs should be at least voyager class for scale.

Hasbro's choices are a mystery to me. I just hope that if soundwave is in the sequel he's bigger than a voyager.

Since Hasbro loves the money, maybe they thought nobody would want to spend $20 on a non-movie figure. I mean, it sure wouldn't stop collectors, but for kids and such spending that hard-earned Andrew Jackson on one figure vs. 2 in-movie deluxes... I'd say they'd go for the movie figs.

And Hasbro has continued that trend ever since!

AntBot has a good point about the $$$ vs. Movie characters, but I think when it all comes down to it, Deluxes sell much better than Voyagers because of their price, thats why Hasbro make 3 or more Deluxes to every Voyager.

This is the only line I care about scale. The only two I've got that breaks my 'In-scale Only' rule are Arcee and the G1 Voyager Prime repaint... well, when he comes out.

On a side note, it seems that S7 buggy coming out will be in scale as a Deluxe. I just finished watching the movie again and they're pretty damn big.
