so what do you think of bumblebee 08??

I found one this morning and had a fiddle. well fiddle is the word. Overall its a nice complex piece but that as you know is literally its undoing. The right shoulder pad kept popping off, a leg popped off, the 'waist' ball popped out. overall he feels flimsy compared to jazz for eg, and the end of the back to car transformation theres lots of squeezing parts ala binatltech into place. Getting the arms into the rght position to allow the upper chest automorh to work is tricky, well that was before i realised you have to pull the shoulders out, so thats ok now. The leg automorph is clever BUT heck, we want to do that part!! talking legs, his hip balls are very loose and he did the splits for me straight away, I didnt even ask.

the robo mode is a bit messy looking and the car looks cheaper for some reason than say barricade, maybe thats the colour and joints. the great news is that the ones bought by kids will be beaters within weeks thus rendering mint ones quite a valuable commodity soon.

some will love him, i think hes OK, i do prefer my jazz though.

anybody find the same 'issues' as me or do you think im just a whiner not content with the greatest TF ever??

Motto: "Everything I do is divinely sanctioned."
Weapon: Jawbreaker Cannon
He's overrated by newcomers to Transformers who are just unaware of all the great delux figures in recent times.

He's a good figure. His articulation is a bit disappointing, although I'm very impressed with his leg design. Upper body is great, head is found wanting (details aren't highlighted). His weapon is pretty cool and unlike most ppl I found his hidden blade pretty cool, although an additional weapon would have been awesome - perhaps one that fired a missile?

counterpunch, you are a succinct writer, 'overrated' is perhaps the word i was looking for!! kudos.

BB 08 is far from terrible, just to much for his own boots, still, better looking than the 70's version.

My first one sounded just like yours. His arm popped off every time you tried to transform him. His leg fell off twice. He came apart at the waist easy. He couldn't stand in any position. He'd start to slump and his legs would start to shift out and he'd fall over. So we took him back and exchanged him. My new one has never once come apart and all his joints are tight and he'll pose any way I want him to. I'm not sure why there's some oddball joints out there like yours, but it sure was worth the exchange on my part. He's been great ever since and I love the figure.

BB 08 is one very nice and complicated design.

Good bot. Good car.
