there are alot of things I like about Small TF figures,
like cyberverse/legends/minicons. I'm not sure what other collectors think of them, but for me, aside from deluxe class figures (which I usaully buy), the Legends Class and other small TF figures are some of my favorites.
I just came across a legends class Megatron Tank at the doller store in town,(which I asusme is based on G2) I never acutlaly thought I'd find that one, I was just lucky enought to have some extra money that day. its hard to find these sort of figures in my area right now. but it's always like this. anyway, the good thing is they take up less space, which is important for my new apartment. there's also that are usaully easy to convert. not to say I have a hard time converting my larger TF figures, becuase I don't.
so, who all finds the smaller scale TF figures at least soemwhat appealing?
I'm thinking of rearraging some of my displys/shelves just for these figures.

I love the small Cyberverse\Legends class.
We get a good selection of figures and where I once thought they were real crap
I have heated up to they greatly.
I wish I had gotten into collecting them when they were first released.
I want that Bumblebee from the Classics line I never can seem to find one at
a good price, if I can find him at all

I like that they are catering to Legends collectors and have so many
exclusives, even though most are imports and real pricey.
That is part of what makes it so interesting and fun though.
Starscream repaints or seeker clones? Build an Army (Thindercracker
)

Constantly improving on them I feel once they reach that level of small size +
articulation people will look at the older versions as they do the G1 toys as sought after predecessor bricks.
Super fun they become quickly addictive. The space you are saving can fill up rather quickly
You're Optimus collection will grow steadily as well as you start picking up all the redecos, DOTM has at least 5 not including Japan releases.
As for Mini-cons, they are nice as accessories but with so many obscure characters it's hard to keep track. I love the enthusiasm some Mini-con collectors have as some have stellar collections
This is my favorite Mini-con sword, I'm not even sure what it's called, it just looks nice with Prime holding it.

These classes (commander/legion/legend) are the major toy classes for my kids now. Quick and easy transformation and they can play many at the same time. Try to think about it if you have 15 deluxes and 5 voyagers all laying on the floor and then you need to transform them all. I'll say no no. To me, they aren't really the size for me but I buy them for my kids.

I love Cyberverse. They take up less space, cost less, help tremendously with scale, don't take forever to transform, are easy to travel with, avoid mainline gimmickry, get funner gimmicks, and actually complete groups (looking at you, Dreads and Constructicons).

Smaller Transformers have less detail and paint aps, mostly simple transformation, usually basic articulation(if any), and sometimes look have downright terrible proportions.
And yet, I really like 'em.
Seriously, I think it's just the ease of transformation and imagination that goes into them. Some of the alt modes may not look as good as a bigger figure, but there are usually more varied to choose from. Race cars, lunar rovers, missle tanks, jets, dinosaurs, all of them can fit into the palm of your hand. There's just something fun about that.

I'm not into Cyberverse figures if there's a larger character avaiable, but some unique characters were made in this size class as well. Without it, we wouldnt have had RotF Scrapper, Overload and Hightower, or the other two Dreads.
Sure, I'd prefer a Deluxe or bigger for those characters, but this way, Commanders and Legions are also represented in my movie collection.
And I actually considered collecting all Prime characters in Cyberverse, since most are really neat looking, especially Commanders Megatron and Starscream.

Some of the original "legends" class figures are really quite nice, but up until the rotf line I feel like they were kind of hit-and-miss (which reminds me, I REALLY need to hunt down the rest of the legends Constructicons...). From that point onward, they kept getting pretty universally much better, and the Prime cyberverse stuff is just great. All I have from it is Vehicon, and while basic, looks really nice for such a small thing. I've got a handful of the dotm Cyberverse figures I got in a lot and I'm quite fond of them as well, particularly Crowbar and Megs.

I prefer bigger transformers, at voyager class and up.
Still, I enjoy Cyberverse figures very much because it's very easy to make EPIC BATTLES with them.

While I've bought a couple over the years(mostly for my Soundwave/Recordicons collection) just to have something to fiddle with at times(need to take the edge off, man!), I recently(past week) had something switch on in my brain making me want more of them. It started with Evac and a Vehicon, and was exacerbated the past two days by finding the Shockwave Fusion Tank, Ratchet & Lunar Crawler, and the Ark for cheap at Ross and TJmaxx.

I think they are cool line especially the commander class because IMO they simply are the new scout class. Most of the time they are filler for me, like I bought legends Goldbug cuz it's a repaint of Legends BB and he's my Neo G1. Then I got Legends Trailbreaker/Trailcutter cuz he's my Neo G1 unless we get a deluxe down the road. I got DOTM Blackout cuz it's a great fig and I didn't care for the voyager class and I got Cyberverse Bulkhead cuz it's a great fig too and I didn't care for any other Bulkhead Prime or Animated.
I know that other fans pick up every single Legends/Scout/Cyberverse under the sun and I'm glad I don't. I wouldn't be able to pick up other TFs if I did so like I said it's just a puzzle for me and maybe for others too...'nuff said!

Re: some good things about cyberverse. (+ legends/minicons etc...) who likes them too?
I couldn't care less about them unless they approximate the rest of my figures in scale. The only two legends class figures I have are RotF Arcee and Ravage. Ravage is especially well done, with simple but well done paint apps that really take his great mold to the next level. Like AutobotGenocide said, it's a shame we don't have a legends class Lazerbeak.
I am thinking about legends BB and Cyberverse Powerglide for my classics collection, though...

See- now this is what I was talking about in my post about cyberverse. I nearly caved for DOTM (here's looking at you Shockwave) but these Prime figs are really good! Especially the commanders! It makes me think twice about buying Voyager Bulkhead (even though he's in scale with my other stuff) and getting the cyberverse version which looks better. I may end up switching completely to cyberverse because you get playsets and in some cases (Megs, Bulkhead, Dreadwing) better looking figs. Plus that commander Ironhide is SWEET. I am really loving these cyberverse figs.
