not necessarily saying that. just don't pay full price, certainly not more than 20 bucks for the sum.
well, no, don't get it. unless you just HAVE to have it.

Is the Republic Gunship SWTF worth picking up?

He's meh. The Gunship alt mode is pretty damn sweet, with moving turrets and firing missiles and overall near kibble-free and accurately proportioned.
The specific robot parts are nice enough, but this guy is just loaded with kibble. The entire cargo bay folds together as a giant backpack and the rather large wings just stick out to the sides. The arms and torso are the only parts of his body formed from exterior Gunship parts. The head and disproportionally long legs are folded from within, the missile launchers are too long to look convincing when held one in each hand and the rest of the Gunship is virtually unused.
In the end, the robot mode is among the weaker SWTFs. I'm glad I've got him, but that's my dual SW/TF love cropping up, plus my love for this particular vehicle and completist urge. He's really a gray member of the bunch, a typical representative of this line.
Of the ones I have, I'd recommend Grievous, Maul, Saesee or Boba/Jango Fett (same mold, just pick your favorite colour) over this one.

I like that idea too. I also think it would be cool to find out that the Star Wars Universe had their own Cybertron located in a differant galaxy somewhere, or even it being located in a distant part of the Unknown Regions.rpetras wrote:Personally I really like the SW TFs I have. But the ones I didn't buy really do nothing for me.
I have the Anakin Jedi starfighter, the ARC-170 ship and the Greivous bike. I'm looking forward to the Turbo Tank, and I plan to the the DarthStar when it hits clearance. I like it ... but not for $50.
I really liked Harley Quinn's idea that they should have turned into TF characters, though. I think that would have been a more interesting crossover.
And these Tfs would have some knowlege of the Force.
