I have to wonder, if maybe Hasbro is getting rid of it's Titanium stock through discount stores. Are Transformers to follow.

Star Wars Titaniums showing up at Dollar General. Are Transformers next?
I just stopped in a Dollar General in Warren, Michigan today and found them stocking the shelves with large Titanium Star Wars figures. They had the 6 inch Tie Fighter Advance and X-Wing Fighter for $8 (used to be $20) and the IG-88 figure for $5 (used to be $15!)

Well, that would so rock, but if there are going to be Titaniums going to the Dollar store, i'm thinking it's going to be the 3"'s instead of the 6's.

Not likely.
Most of those SW Titaniums went on clearance.
Hardly any TF ones did.

Dollar General isn't a $1 "Dollar Store". They are just a discount store with a misleading name. They sell the 6 inch titaniums for $5-8 dollars, as I said.

These things even manged to flood the shelves half a globe away, so it's no real surprise that they are getting cleared out.
But as Counterpunch said, the Transformers Titaniums were never on the shelves (if some waves even reached them) long enough to gather dust, let alone make it to clearance.

If I might argue that point currently every 6 inch titanium Transformer toy in Hasbro Toy Shop is on clearance for $11.99.

Hasbro seems to want to clear these toys out. It's entirely possibly that they could give them to a discount chain.
