i think a better idea would be to do a "just found thread" let each other know what stores we've been to and what we've found. and maybe even hide figures that people in here need, then we would just pm each other the locations. however, this only works if people in here live in the area within each other. for example, today as of 10am i went to target pacoima down here in southern cali and they got four cases of movie figs.... cybecustomizer, you said you were in southern cali in the other thread, so if you're near pacoima target get yo ass haulin'!
....but i repeat that was as of 10 am so i dont know what you would find now

Thanks for the heads up, I know exactly where that is. But no money = no figures.

That's a great idea! I have on my own small part been helping out just this way. I've sent Barricades, Dreadwings, Arcees, BB74, and in 2 wks BB08 to more people than I care to remember. Is it a lot of effort? Yup. It is satisfying? Definitely. When I think about how many of those people could have made those mofoin' scalpers very happy campers indeed, it adds to my pleasure.
the problem with this or the Sightings thread, is that by the time we read it and go back to the store to get it, it's probably gone. Let's say we have x number of people on this forum who live in the vicinity of the sighting. I'm sure it's a mad scramble of x people for that one sighting and in the end you have x-1 people very disappointed in frustrated.
By actually listing what is needed, I could have a list in mind and as soon as I saw it, buy it immediately. After all that's the value of something like this, to pick up something immediately that you see that might be gone in 5 minutes if you don't.
The only thing I see is that we need to figure out communication method. We have ten people spotting that one guy needs a Dreadwing and we potentially have 9 Dreadwings that nobody else wants.

Excellent idea. I just sent off a package to a fellow board member in the UK because he can't find what he's looking for.
I think it could be an equally beneficial agreement for everyone!

Cool. There should be an offical part on this thread with the list of people and there needs. I would hate to scroll down and look at everyones post to see what they want.
But I don't want to be in charge of updating that
Plus everyone will need to let us know if you found the piece already!!!

All the new figs here seem to disappear just as they hit the shelves. I was lucky I found an Acree. Want I really want is the new Bumblebee. All I can think about right now is him. It's driving me mad.....lol. I really think there's someone in my city who is buying up all the new figs, hence why I can't find him. I will send a money order to someone who can find him. I know it would make me a very happy girl!
