A video from Takara has appeared on nicovideo showcasing the upcoming Masterpiece Beast Convoy (Optimus Primal) toy. This video provides a 360 view of the toy (still unpainted) in multiple modes and poses. Stills from the video have been uploaded onto Planet Iacon's facebook page and can be found below. We finally get a very good look at how the beast mode looks from the back and to all those who were hoping for no robot parts to show well... let us know what you think in the discussion.

Eh, I was hoping for better on the back of the legs. It looked better from the front. Still, I gues Primal isn't ever going to be mooning on my shelf. And dual cannon in each arm confirmed. That pleases me.

I dunno, doesn't seem fair to speculate price without seeing how he scales with other figures... He could be the size of mp bb, or the size of mp 10 :-?

It would be interesting if they do multiple bw mp's if thy do stick to a congruent scale, b/c megs was much bigger in both modes as compared to primal :shock:

This is my motto for the season.

Anyways: It's a hominid turning into a hominid. Not a lot of options for the back legs without shell-forming. And if there's noise about butt-tires, there will definitely be noise about shell-forming.
