TF figure you wished you didn't purchase? :-X
Re: TF figure you wished you didn't purchase? :-X
Good lord, I just bought movie Evac...
I had been holding off buying the blackout mold cause I liked the look of the evac repaint a lot. So far I regret buying it. (Thankfully, I paid only a bit above retail for him) The toy is colored nice, and the head mold is great,... but good lord almighty the toy is flimsy as hell! I mean, the quality is straight down the toilet. Was the blackout mold this bad? The toy refuses to hold together well in altmode; with parts and panels constantly untransforming by themselves, and the joints in robot mode (especially the hands) are amazingly loose. Also, the "rotor-used-as-arm-weapon" mode really sucks. I was expecting the weapon to at the very least lock on to evac... It just sits loosely on a peg on his shoulder and in his hand. (Though there may be a better way to do this that I am not aware of)
It almost feels like a bad KO quality-wise. A shame really, considering that the toy looks really nice.

I'm quite surprised by your astounding revelations..

I was also considering to get EVAC 'coz of the better color scheme and unique head sculpt..My goodness!

Right now i'm focusing on OFFROAD IRONHIDE, I hope the quality's much better this time around...

This is not Classics at all. No resemblance or relation whatsoever to the original Devastator. Except for a few names.
I'm so glad I passed on that... And it wasn't easy, because the Constructicons/Devastator are my favorite TF's.
I'm regretting buying the classic camero BB, and kinda the Voyager Prime since I gave in and bought Nightwatch Prime.
I guess at least I have one that's in the movie colors.

I would prefer the original G1 six-robot DEVASTATOR than the Classics Devastator version. The more, the merrier!

Final Battle Jazz, so far. it has nothing to do with his look, but i'm very disappointed about the build quality. right out of the package his right arm was so loose it wouldn't stay up. also, the arms are just a joke in general. i transformed it from robot to alt one time and left it that way. little kids must be breaking these movie figs all around the world. however, i still think their neat, so oh well.

I would have to say the Classic Optimus Prime Vs. Megatron set. I bought it cheap at Bigbadtoystore.com and I was generally disappointed with the figures specially Optimus Prime. To me he looked and feel like a cheap KO of THS 02 Optimus Prime and the problem I had with Megatron was his Arm Cannon falling off in Robot mode.

Final Battle Jazz.
A friend asked me to order it for him online. The pc or internet connected was excruciatingly slow. The cart shows quantity of one. But the slow connection may have passed on the info twice. I was charged twice and 2 Final Battle Jazz arrived.
I was left to absorb the extra Jazz.
I already have regular Jazz before the movie was shown.

I really liked Deluxe Prime, well, his robot mode anyway, his alt mode was nothing to write home about (conciderably better than RM Convoy though).

Actually I regret purchasing a few Armada, Energon, and even some Cybertron figures. I would like to sell them to make room for Animate and Classics 2.0 figures. I also wish I didn't buy MP-03 Starscream since the Hasbro version is much better looking. Alt Richochet has lousy color scheme and isn't a G1 char so I would like to get rid of it one day as well.

Where does Ricochet belong to? His original toy sure looks like G1. Looks like repaint of G1 Jazz.

The only one I can think of now, that I regret buying, is Energon Slugslinger. He's way too flimsy for my standards.

Not like it hurt my feelings or anything, because it's all a matter of opinion, but I love that figure. That being said, I can see the flaws in it, and it is pretty slight in terms of durability, so I understand why people don't like E-Slugslinger.

God a new one for yah. Movie Megatron. OMG what a piece of crap for $40. 40 bucks and his transformation is basic, his head sticks out in vehicle mode, his articulation is poor, and the sound effects are stupid and make no sense either. For the price I was expecting a figure the quality of Movie Prime! The fusion canon was very dissapoitning: You don't even really have to stick his arms together. oh and whats with the pink?
This toy isn't really even worth $20 honestly. They really don't make good Megatron toys anymore do they?

Not fair. I never saw a one in stores and I would have gladly paid 40 bucks. The universe hates me like that.

I also got a Voyager Movie Megatron...and his transformation is absurdly very easy even for a tot or with your eyes closed!
His thin arms easily break off when removing the fusion cannon away from jet to robot mode..His front chest armor(?) or ice plate is too small to hide his head in alien jet mode..
On the upside, i like his extended snapping wingspan and fusion cannon with firing projectile of course!(an advantage of Voyager Megs against the Leader version).
Well, it's just one of those crappy figs..but I got him just for collectability purposes..Imperfect, but the fig also grew on me somehow...

hadn't seen one in months, until 2 weekends ago at Target. I pulled out the card and swiped for I knew it might just be the last chance to get movie megs. I needed him to complete my collection of movie figures, so in that aspect I don't regret buying him. For the most part, other than Prime the movie series sucks.

How about Dropkick and Landmine? They're awesome figures. Better than most of the regular movie figures.
