I nitpick the actual packaging condition, and overall paint quality of the actual figure during the shopping process. Then when i do open them(carefully), i handle the figs with care. Since i do not smash them together, i have no need to purchase 2. But certain classes like deluxe/scout, where putting it back is not as satisfying as voyager/mega/leader classes, will just have to be enclosed in my specially picked sized boxes during storage time.

It really does depend entirely on you.

I have my figures loose, so that I can transform them and pose them, which is quite hard to do when they are in their boxes/on their cards.

But on the flipside, they do look good in the package, and I have seen a number of collections that are MISB/MOSC hanging off pegs, as they do in a store, and it looks good too.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

for g1's i usually go with MIB
everything else i prefer getting sealed because half the fun is opening it for the first time.

Buy and keep those transformers MISB, then go back to ebay and buy the ones you want opened to display at 2.00 to 3.00 per figure!! it's cheaper then buying two at MISB!!!

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
3 versions of each.

MISB one is vehicle, and one in robot!

And if they have more than 2 modes, look out!!!

Weapon: Rust Rifle
All loose for me with a few MIB items. None sealed though, I like my options

Loose G1 seems more feasible to me. Where one would pay $300+ for a boxed Swoop, you can get a loose complete for a bill.

With the movie items, I would get MISB cause they are so fragile. Loose ones in good shape will be hard to find in the next few years.
