That's actually a very good point...

He's got some pretty far-out powers to go along with them, too, including teleportation, the projection of trippy telepathic visions and illusions, and the ability to groove on the language of 98% of all known species. To uses his powers to the fullest, though, he's gotta be feelin' good vibrations; bad karma can seriously harsh his mellow, y'know?

It dosnt specify what kind of life and that was long before ether Primus or Unicron were Transformers. You are seeing them only in one way.......When the one created them we dont know what they truly were.......robotic or humanoid??????We dont know.......but after Unicron rebeled and fought Primus and was traped in that astoriod is when he became the first Transformer and Primus followed after him.

I do.......but not because I disagree with its idea's.Its because they failed to explaine or resolve all the different plot holes.Like they fail to explaine Primacron at all.And how its socalled deffinitive history was supposed to be the same as the Dreamwave, and has different insecticons history. For me the book failed to be a ultimate guide.

Yeah, I think Tramp's about the only one here who thinks of that guide as gospel. Everyoen else just considers it a good read, ubt certainly not a reliable resource by any means. There's too many inconsistancies as well, like with the whole "Unicron and Primus being in every universe and being the same" thing. I mean, it's obvious to anyone who's read the comics and watched the TV shows that each Unicron and each Primus are exclusive the the universes they came from. They clearly aren't the same in every universe, and in some universes, (G1 Cartoon, namely) Primus doesn't exist, and in others, there is no Unicron. Same goes for the Primus/Unicron being indestructable" thing. They ARE destructable, and we've seen THAT too.

I get what your saying......but I believe that Hasbro was trying to retcon that issue with the Ultimate Guide, and they have the right to do so, I just think they did a piss poor job of doing it.Those retcon issues stem mostly from the Beast Wars metioning of Primus and most fan's thinking it's a dirrect continuation of the G1 toon universe. The fact is [not counting any retcon derived from TUG] the Beast Wars's universe was a Amalgam universe from the U.S. toon universe and the G1 Marvel comic's universe. So in fact it was a 3rd all new universe based on the 2 before it.So hasbro wanted to stream line all the different universe's with TUG but they failed to take all the issues into consideration.

Their physical manifestions are different yes, and they are destructable, but, seeing as these are gods we're dealing with when you consider it aethyrically then they are the same and indestructable.

Bro, regardless:
A) We've seen them destroyed. Blaster said in issue 77 of the G1 Marvel comic "Primus is DEAD, Cybertron is falling apart." (Or something to the effect, but he DOES use the word "Dead, or Died.")
B) They're definitely not the same. Cartoon Armada Unicron IS NOT Cartoon G1 Unicron, and is not G1 COMIC Unicron. Energon Primus is NOT Cybertron Primus. (In Japan.) G1 Comic Primus is not Energon Primus. Furman can claim what he wants to. It's pretty obvious the writers were intending all Primuses to be different characters. And if not, then why do they have different fates, different looks, etc? Conclusively, regardless of what the Out of Date, no longer canon Guide says, they're obviously not the same, and anyone watching or reading the comics will tell you that. That's like me trying to imply all Optimuses are the same when they aren't. There's too much evidence showing none of those Primuses or Unicrons are the same.
