Following Thew's review, I have been fooling around with my Energon Megatron again. Man, this toy is such a chunker, and he's such a fun toy. I think my favorite part is how big and strong the wings are, complete with the opening weapon wings, I love that

Had a blast at TFcon last weekend, and scored some UT figures in the process!

Got an Energon Snowcat and Armada Red Alert on Friday night in the lobby. I was specifically looking for Red alert, so was excited to get him, off Headmaster Don no less! He didn't have his minicon, but I gave him a pair of thematic ones I had kicking around.

And then Saturday night, I got Armada Galvatron complete in the lobby at midnight. And the best part? I literally ran into Aaron Archer minutes later and got to talk about the figure with him. He said he's always happy to discuss his old work, was a lot of fun to hang with him for a minute.

I got the Armada Galvatron at TFcon, and goddamn, is this thing lovely. I loved the mold already, but these colors? Perfection

Wife and I had a pretty rough March, so I ended up dabbling a lot in my AEC toys. So many fun toys, I just can't help flicking them between modes.

I also got the Fans Hobby version of a Dark Saber, and paired with Grand Scourge, looks incredible.

I hope you all enjoy this photo dump of some great toys.

Ah, wasn't familiar with the encore version, that makes sense.

Looking at the slight color differences between the two versions, the one pictured is definitely the encore version.

Still, very cool.

My Rodimus collection included 2 Energon Rodimus figures combined with each other. Just made for a slightly larger and more proportional Rodimus, with dual-wielded blasters, much like OG Hot Rod had.

Man, inflation (or is it greed) is really outpacing common sense pricing. Just checked my own invoice, I paid the same you did (X-rates.com says it was $77 at the time plus $16 shipping, but it shipped with MPM-7 Bumblebee who was only $35, good grief), now he'd be like $150 plus $30 shipping. It was only 6 years ago!

I cannot believe it took 18 years, but at long last, I have a Unicron.

I saw this guy pop up on TFland, and I decided it was finally time. And man, what a fun figure. I am oddly enamored with the tank mode, especially those big back wheels. The head sculpt is great, and the chest cannon is a nice touch.

I just love it, it's really fun, and it makes me feel happy. My first Unicron, and he is a great piece I am perfectly content with

Tank Unicron... my only Unicorn, how I love thee, let me count the ways. His little planet ring stabby things are easily lost sadly.

I would not be opposed to a retool of Megatonus into him. I think it would work pretty well.

Stayed on. Made him kinda chunky, but I displayed him looking forward so it was barely noticeable.

This was my first Unicron, too, which I got about a year and a half ago, after admiring his stock photo for years. I agree, he's a really impressive figure and a really great take on the character. Nice find!
