Weapon: Nuclear Charged Fusion Cannon
All these instances where you see inconsistencies, and recurring Transformers, who shouldn't be there at that point are all animation errors. Them reusing the same characters as background filler, due to one reason or another

Not ghosts. Not clones. lol

But, I'm sure you guys enjoy the speculation as much as the next person does.

Thundercracker was remade into Scourge. and Shrapnel and Kickback were remade into Sweeps. Both Bombshell and Skywarp were made into Cyclonus, one of which immediately disappears and is replaced by a third sweep. As for who actually remained, that's an age-old debate. Doesn't matter in the end, really.

Ah yes, that good old debate....personnaly, i beleive Skywarp became Cyclonus since they couldnt have turned him into a mindless sweeps. He was one fo the original caracter.

Skywarp is one of the Neo-Wreckers in a Vehicon body.

Ok, this movie is either ****-up or their ghost came back...
Theory 1: Maybe when Unicron 'remakes' somebody, he jettisons the 'old' spark/spirit and substitutes one of his own in the remade body. That is probably why there are ghosts, and they had come back. Possibly if Starscream hadn't died, they would have done something to him themselves, or they would have tormented him by haunting him. Plus, I think the reason why we don't see Megatron's ghost is because he still inhabits his own body, but being remade can cause a person to go insane.

Theory 2: If Skywarp, Thundercracker and whoever are already dead when Unicron deals with them, Unicron would be dealing with corpses, and the sparks/spirits would be absent. Unicron remakes then reanimates the corpses, putting in a new spark because the old one is no longer there. The ghosts of the dead left when their bodies died. And now they are there at the cornation because they know Galvatron is coming to kill Starscream, and after that they can finally rest.

If Screamer can't see them, then they are probably ghosts.

I agree. After all, weren't Skywarp and Thundercracker supposed to be Starscream's buddies?
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

I really like that idea, except, when Cyclonus almost runs over the seeker that looks like tundercracker, the seeker that looks like thundercracker runs out of the way.. If hes reallt thundercrackers "ghost", why run out of the way??

Its a stupid animation error.. I mean wasnt the order of some of the scenes of the movie changes, ie attack on cybs moons wasnt origionally susposte to happen till the end of the movie rite before unicron transforms??

Why run out of the way, you ask? That would be force of habit. He hasn't been a ghost for long, so he still has the preprogrammed instincts he had when he was alive. And when you've got whatever Cyclonus transforms into coming straight at you, of course you're gonna get your aft out of the way!
