Yes, that's a pretty good deal there. Galvatron is pretty neat. I like his dragon mode much more than his bot mode. He is tricky to stand in bot mode since he has a giant drill bit on his back that wants to force him backwards. That drill is actually two pieces you have to force onto the figure itself and since it's gold plastic, it's kinda nerve wracking forcing it into place. I wouldn't chance removing it for fear of breakage. You had also asked about plastic quality for Lio Convoy. Neither version has any plastic issues. They're both pretty solid figures. I'll put up my list shortly.

thanks for yours and skywarp's inputs! i really need to decide on this because another guy's offering a cybertron deluxe 3-pack w/ landmine, snarl and dirtboss MOSC, at almost the same price... i'm torn bet. getting 2 ultras or 3 deluxes. any ideas?

Go with the Beast Wars they are rare.. you can always find cybertron again, or you can try to stall the guy till you get paid again...

zemper wrote:skywarp: yeah, it goes at that price but you have to consider the cross-country shipping cost...so basically the loose one offered here is much cheaper...i'm more concerned about lioconvoy's plastics and playability, a friend of mine says his playability is meh. ideas?

I'd trust what Flux Convoy wrote, I own them and didn't have any issues, though I only transformed them once and back in the box they went, because of storage issues, but their plastic is very, very, sturdy feeling, more so then I have even seen in the current movie line..

I would say on a playability scale they are wonderful figures.. the only issue I had was that Lio Convoy looks like he's got severe back problems from arching.. I soo wish Takara would have placed a chest joint in to make him a little more flexible in that area for posing..instead of his chest and torso being so stoic... that's pretty much the only thing I can think of, oh other then the RM version being the best ever rendition of him!!!
