Last time I heard about WM inventory is that re-ordering was auto-maintained by the servers based on trends. Heck they can track what are the most purchased items during hurricane season for coastal states. I know the managers control the current inventory, but the databases were designed to take care of inventory re-ordering. I could be wrong, but I remember reading about it.

It's been like that for me everywhere I go. It's so sad because I'd even get the shelfwarmers like Swindle Wreckage etc. if the stores would just give me the chance!

Oh he's crazy. Besides, the Hasbro reps will come along and find out just why product isn't being ordered. I found out they can make the store order more and it's up to the retailer to get it moving, not Hasbro.

So, sooner or later, your friend is going to lose this battle. Wal-Mart will have to order more later.

My guess, he said that because he is sick of the same question from so many other people. Not that you would know, but because they prob get asked the same question like 50 times a day.
The Wal-Mart here (where a friend of mine works) is the same way when you ask them about stuff like that and with Hot Wheels.

Motto: "If you feel my lightning, you will never hear the thunder."
I went to my local Wal-Mart a few weeks ago to pick up my Rescue Ratchet. At this Wal-Mart, we have several you-scan machines and the cashier monitors these machines. Anyways, as I was checking out...she asked me about the figure on whether they have them. Apparently, she is a grandmother and wanted to get some Transformer toys for her grandkids. I told her to get some while she can at least until the holiday shopping starts. Also, considering my region had a huge drought for 6 weeks of no Transformer figures.
