Toys you collect besides Transformers.
As always, just curious as to what lines of toys besides Transformers some of y'all are dabblin' into?
Personally i love most everything Mcfarlane (who doesnt right?)especially the Dragons, Spawn, Hockey, and more recently Twisted Xmas. Many Marvel figures like the 12-inch legends icons series, and anything Green Goblin. I'm also very fond of certain game figures such as FF7 or Street Fighter. When i was a kid i was obsessed with these puppet master movies so i have all of them ordered off ebay too(creepy little dudes), so how about you guys?

Thanks man!
I snatched up a black Ibuki and Remy recently that aren't pictured and I think I have everyone I want at this point. Some of the oddballs or very very minor variations I didn't buy, but what you see is 98% of the SOTA line.
Revolutions gets released soon, you up for some Gief?

Besides Transformers I collect mainly G.I. Joe and Star Wars toys. I also but Marvel, DC, Mcfarlane, and Final Fantasy figures if I ever come across a figure I like when I have the money for them.

I'm tracking down all the Gundam Fix Figuration line of action figures, especially the ones that transform. Also trying to track down a Leonkyzer figure in the Goldran series to complete my Goldran combiner.

Re: Toys you collect besides Transformers.
I do have an extensive collection of dinosaur models.
I recently picked up a few discounted Nightmare before Christmas and Corpse Bride figures. I'm starting to wish I'd got more of those when I had the chance.
Lately I'll just buy a toy if it piques my curiosity in some way. It started with all the fruitless transformer hunts last year. I picked up a Neo Shifter here, a Hot Wheels Batmobile there. As a consolation prize in a way. You get sick of leaving empty handed.
I'm not interested in amassing definative collections, I'm more interested in stuff that's well designed or cute or clever in some way. Just the good stuff, basically. I have much lower standards when it comes to transformers. I've crept ever closer to the dreaded completism disease.

Re: Toys you collect besides Transformers.
Well for quite a few years I was mainly collecting Star Wars but like many thing I collect that has started to really taper off. I had a huge carded collection which I recently sold most of to buy other things since I dabble in other lines too. My sickness didn't just extend to Hasbor but reached into Master Replicas and Sideshow items too. Now I only by a couple things here and there that catch my eye, no more carded collection though, everything I buy now is opened unless its rare.
I've recently gotten into the mcfarlane halo 3 figures unfortunately for my wallet.
Prior to Star Wars I collected the Playmates The Simpsons World of Simpsons line. But towards the end that tapered off as well. I still have lots of that stuff, carded and loose, boxed up in the garage. One day I will go through that stuff and put it up for sale.
For a while I was collecting Mezco Family Guy toys but I jumped off that ship. They were nice figures but i just couldn't afford to go balls out on another collection.
I have a ton of Disney/Pixar Cars that originally I started collecting for my oldest son. But I am pretty much winding down on those as well, I am losing interest. Of course I tell myself that but I am not fully convinced because just this morning on my Walmart run I bought two new cars because I had never seen them and so i didn't leave the store empty handed.
My oldest is really into ben 10 right now. I think its a cute/fun cartoon so I pick up those for him when something new hits.
I have a few lego houses on display too. A few Buffy/Angel items. Some Marvel/DC stuff - Spidey, batman, Superman. Lately on my toy runs I've been seeing the new Iron man figures and they are getting pretty hard to resist.
A ton of dvd's/albums/blu-rays/video games/etc
The most important part of my collection is my understanding, supportive, some might say enabling
, wife who lets me indulge in this expensive habit/hobby but then again she does have her own "problem" with shoes/clothes/purses

In case you were looking for any encouragement about the Iron-Man movie figs let me be the one to offer it.
They are very nice.
As I said above I've never collected anything besides TF's well I have quite a collection of DVD's but who doesn't.
I Saw them some time ago in a catalog that was posted on line that had amongst other Hasbro products, the Animated TF's and other things. The Iron-Man figures where there and I kinda liked them.
Recently I saw them on shelves And just could not resist. I picked up the "Prototype" Armor Iron-Man and I was very nicely surprised. Very cool figure comes with some additional accessories, 2 sets of hands removable helmet, should pads, 2 interchangeable power cells and a chest piece.
Very nice. I reviewed it with pics in the General Discussion Forum here:
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=37723
So if you liked it, pick it up, Its a nice figure I was pleasantly surprised by it.
I'm now looking for the Wal-Mart exclusive Stealth Armor Jim Rhodes A.K.A War Machine.

Here are pics of my other collections:
Star Wars Galactic Heroes & Spider-Man Marvel Heroes

SD Gundams

Zoids & Lego robots

I also have some Machine Robo Mugenbine coming from BBTS soon.
Basically, if it's a robot, and it combines, transforms or is customisable I'm interested.

I picked up the 12-inch repulsor blast Iron-Man, a very nice figure IMO. Not much for articulation but with some nice cheesy sounds, a projectile and a nice price tag i couldnt resist( i find it hard to resist most any 12-inch+ figure i see under 30$).

I used to collect Power Rangers stuff. Mostly just Red Ranger figures and morphers, but I have a few Megazords. Haven't got any of that since Time Force though.
I picked up a few of the 25th GI Joe's and I'll get the occasional Star Wars figure.
My other big collection is Nascar diecast cars.

I've got a few NECA figures - Stay Puft, the new Turtles figures that just came out and a couple of gremlins. I'm a sucker for cool versions of things that appealed to me as a kid!
I've also got some Star Wars miniatures to replace the crappy figures that come with SWTF.

Re: Toys you collect besides Transformers.
Some of the new G.I. Joe figures made it to my shelf, mainly Cobra characters. I'm trying to keep the non-TF population down though. I'm already limited for space. I'll get it if it is a character I like, but also it needs to be a good rendition of them.
The only Starwars I have are Grievous and Boba Fett, both for fangirl reasons.
I never got the wheelbike Grievous, because it looked weird and I'm still iffy on the new Grievous TF coming out. I keep looking at the Commander Cody TF thing that for somereason makes me think of Motormaster, but I haven't bought it yet. I'll probably regret it soon here if I don't. I think Motormaster would look like that if there was a TF/Starwars crossover.
