Grand Max is a pretty cool addition to my Classics shelves. Interesting how he's actually appropriately sized for the character.
Anyway...there are two stickers left over and not numbered on the instructions. Anyone figure out where they go?

On this review at 2:30 the guy says the "mystery stickers" belong on the little guns on the side of the knees. He edits the words on the screen so you never actually see the stickers in place though.

Infinitor needs to hurry up and hit U.S stores soon, I'm starting to get impatient over here.

Over at TFW, A few of the forum members who bought and already have TW Fort Max from over seas sites. Are reporting that their is no Decals stickers sheet. Some are thinking the decals are exclusive to TW Grand Max.
I'm guessing Repro Labels might create a decal sheet for TW Fort Max.

Put all the decals on today. Even though some of the decals broke in two during the removal and required careful reattachment, it does look REALLY nice with my other Japanese figures!

Cool! Did you find a Master Sword for him or did he come with one?

Neither - his temporary master Sword is actually a blue sword from the TFC/Junkion Blacksmith weapon sets. It works well enough.

Yeah, my POL is growing enough to ship at the beginning of 2015.

Re: ToyWorld TW-H04 Infinitor/TW-H04G Grant (Not-Fort/Grand Max)
Received this toy in the mail Friday.
Just a quick highlights review to report the quality on this toy.
The toy iself is heavier than I thought it would be. Nice strong ratchet joints. The plastic quality is high and very strong. The paint apps are neatly applied and I saw no bleeding on the paint apps. The colored plastics are nicely done. The Transformation back and forth was not too difficult to do.
Think most of ToyWorld's TF toys including Infinitor are reminiscent of the HasTak AEC thick, bulky, strong plastic,Heavy ratchets, styled TF toys.
The Box itself is simply amazing. Nicely done art work all over the box with a nice gloss finish. Yes There was no tape sealing the box.
There is a foam inner tray that is reminiscent of what the G-1 toys used.
The plastic bag had the big long instructions in it and a few cards. It was reminiscent of what Takara does with their TF toys in Japan.
Think if you are a fan of the Marvel G-1 TF comics with the much smaller fort max. Then you might want to buy this toy. As it can be displayed nicely next to a few 3rd party MP TF toys and HasTak MP TF toys like next to MP-08 Grimlock. Next to Fanstoys Quakewave. Next to MP-09 and MP-10. UT Mania king, MP Seekers and so on.
Think this smaller scale TW Infinitor can also be display next to some AEC, CHUG and movie verse toys like 2005 Cybertron Metroplex. 2003 Energon Scorponok.
Hoping ToyWorld has a Scorponok, Black Zarak and Brave colored version, With retools planned. In this similar Infinitor Nine inch robot scale.
At some point I'm wishing Toyworld or another 3rd party creates a big accessories kit for TW Infinitor that has the other big double barrelled hand gun, Master Sword, Radar dish, Grommet and Gasket. Tiny gun for Cog and Spike.

Well, hello there!

I've been playing around with this guy. Indeed, he is a bit of fun to transform and feels really good and sturdy. The only complain I have right now is that the arm ramps have trouble staying flush with the arms, particularly in base and battle-cruiser modes. I'm going to have a looksee and try to fix that..
And in case anyone wanted to see him next to the Kabaya figure...

And, ack, I need to look at the focus on my camera...
The grays and blues are darker than I expected. Perhaps it was seeing all those pictures of G1 encore Ft Max. Perhaps it is the more brilliant coloring of the Kabaya kit. But, all in all, I'm happy. Just need to take some pics of other modes and break out Warden...

So what's the quality like on this? I'm thinking of picking up the Fort Max version, and though I've seen reviews, they don't really mention things like plastic quality/joint tightness.
Is he worth 80 quid? Never got a Toyworld thing before, so I can't compare to their previous works.

I can't speak for this figure directly, but I do own two of their products and can confirm their level of quality. I bought their Hegemon and regretted nothing. He's rock solid, he's constructed out of a rather dense and reliable plastic for the most part. Some of the plastic on his arms is a bit soft (not brittle or breakworthy) but that's about it.
Because of that, I bought their Orion and he impressed me even more so than Hegemon, and I love me some Hegemon. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, and fairness, I must admit that Orion's leg flaps have cracked at the hinge with one hairline crack per. It bothers me because plastic shouldn't be cracking on a $100.00 figure, I admit, but fortunately due to the design and their high level of quality, both in plastic quality and build, the cracks were due to relieving pressure and have not affected the figure in any way. Nothing has detached, nothing is in danger of detaching (the breaks aren't all the way through, just a small split, really.) and I still don't regret it.
I'm no fan of the Fort Max/Grand Max character or the mold they used here, but the plastic quality and their level of effort put into these are worth 80 quid. If I was interested in Max, I'd buy it partly because it was ToyWorld producing it.
They're so good in my mind, that even fractured plastic can't stop me from giving them a sales pitch to others.

Good to know it's a good quality company.
One other question I forgot to ask earlier: How big is he compared to the Energon Scorpinok mould? I use the Cybertron Dark Scorpinok repaint for my classics Scorpinok, so obviously would have his opposing leader to fight this guy.

Ask and ye shall receive. First, we go to the planet of Nebulous and see the Scorpion attack the Fortress. If you look closely, you will see Powerglide set to take off and find Hot Rod and Optimus (though it will be too late!)

Next, let's travel the cosmos, carrying our cargo of Headmasters and Targetmasters, attempting to bring about or prevent universal Armageddon!!

And finally, the two titans are set to battle it out for final domination!

Okay, that was all a bit melodramatic... Here's a straight up look at their heights.

Sadly, I will likely not be able to take any more pics of Scorponic as it appears that some of the plastic on the shoulder piece is crumbling. I will find a mode to keep him in for my display shelves...
It's too bad, too, because I think these two look very nice together. I will have to see if I can find a more permanent solution for the crumbling plastic. Perhaps a layer of clear epoxy...

Thanks. I'm sure it's a combination of age and playing with it. I don't do much these days, but back when he first came out, he got some pretty good use.
And I definitely agree that these two look very decent with each other. It looks good enough that I'm considering keeping an eye out on eBay for the Botcon version.

Re: ToyWorld TW-H04 Infinitor/TW-H04G Grant (Not-Fort/Grand Max)
So this guy arrived today. Daaaaang. This is sweet. Good quality plastic, insanely heavy ratchet joints everywhere, nicely poseable. And the best part that I didn't see mentioned: G1 compatible. Fortress fits perfectly in Chromedome's transtector! And Chromedome almost fits into Maximus. Certainly well enough to look fine. And Chromedome even fits in the little seat in his chest! Only thing missing is a Master Sword. FP Slag has currently donated his sword for the cause.
I forgot there was a botcon scorpinok. That would look awesome beside this.
