Guess I'm getting Unit-3 off eBay then. I'd be dubious about buying that Tigatron at retail price, let alone as an exclusive.

Honestly if you're going to do that I'd just buy the two pack. All the unit-3 figures I've seen on eBay are selling for about the same price as the pair and even if you don't want tigatron you could just sell him and recoup some of the money spent.

I'm crushed that there are no customization class Ratchets to sell on the club store. Why are they even selling the sticker sheets for him? Did they not offer them to people who bought him at BotCon?

Didn't other 2 packs go for like $80 in the past? But Tigatron plus Unit 3 plus stickers is $120? So the sticker set costs another $40? Too steep for my tastes.

Also, I thought I remembered them saying everything would be sold individually this year. Am I crazy?

You could preorder him for non-attendees. They were very big on announcing he was a G1 bot and that you should preorder him or be sad forever.

It just sucks that they are selling the stickers separately, especially since they are needed. This isn't like the Primal figure with stickers for his surfboard.

I'd expect the price on eBay to become more realistic if I wait a while. 'Quirky' figures like that tend to even out a bit.

so..in order to purchase form their site, you have to be a member, but they are not offering memberships.

No they didn't. Assembled class figures never came with sticker sheets. Only those who attended the classes got the stickers.

Nice. I'm glad they made that sticker sheet available for Ratchet. I wonder why they weren't available at the show...

You are correct. The figures were sold individually at the show this year. It looks like they paired them up for the club store though. Probably to ensure more product moves out of their warehouse. I believe they were $49 a piece at Botcon for figures like Tigatron and Unit-3 if I remember correctly.

I just got off the phone with Angie at FunPub (incidentally, she's been fantastic to work with in the past when I've needed assistance). If you're one of the club members like me who got caught in the window where your membership expired after March 16 (date when they cut off new/renewal memberships), their system is not ready to handle letting you in. I confirmed that we will have access to the store through the end of the club. They (FunPub) hope to have the system updated to allow those members access in a week or so. In the meantime, you'll have to call and place a phone order. Hope that helps!

That's just the way things were. Assembled class figures never came with stickers, as they were reserved only for those who attended the classes.

I dislike how they bundle everything together rather than buying individually. I don't need another program if I wanted to get the rubber ducky and I don't need another Tigertron and Unit-3 just to get the sticker sheet.

Why cant i like combiner wars? They just dont appeal to me at all.

That's right - each was $49 at the show.

The $120 price point isn't awful, all things considered. Reflector was $59 at the show and is $68 at the Club Store right now. If the Unit-3/Tigertron duo is priced at $120, it looks like they increased the price of figures by 15%, and then added the sticker sheet at show cost.

Still, I'll hold off on buying additional product from the Store until the inevitable fire sale at the end of the year...

Is anyone else digging Scorponok from Scamper? I was a little bummed that he was Legends-sized at first, but I'm really starting tot dig the look of him. Especially in car mode, the deco is so different I had to go back and check it wasn't a reshell.

It's entirely possible but I'm going to order Tigatron/Unit-3 in a couple weeks. Picked up CW Prowl and Ironhide extras for half-price the other day and Silverbolt is still cheap on BBTS. EDIT: I really hope the Predacus set will be available later this summer. I simply can't afford or justify the price right now given the Canadian exchange rate.

Disappointed I won't be able to get my hands on Airazor or the custom class Ratchet. I'll survive.

I still think Megatron going for $1000 dollars right now (check ebay sold listings) is spectacularly absurd. Eh. Wonder if I'll ever be able to pick up Terrorsaur for around $100 shipped.

That's 1000 CDN right? Right now I see him going from 600-650 in USD which is still nuts.

Talking to the Fun Pub folks at the show, it seemed like they had a ton of loose sets left. It's obviously not a sure thing, but it seems like you should be able to pick up Predacus later this year.

Terrorsaur's another question entirely...

I'm not a member of the club. Is there any chance someone would be willing to buy two items and sell them to me????
