Transformers Complete Collection 17 Discs

hey all, i recently purchased this from http://www.madman.com.au
ive watched about half so far and quite happy with it, but shouldnt it include the WHOLE G1 series just not up to the Rebirth episodes and not include the headmasters series?
thats G1 also isnt it?

No.

Headmasters is the Japanese continuation of the Transformers series. It skips the 3 Rebirth episodes, and starts it's own continuity.
The Madman G1 set is the complete American G1 series.

If it is any consolation, Madman will be releasing the Headmasters series along with the other Japan only series: Victory and Masterforce in the not too distant future.

Headmasters is slated for a November 2007 release.

If they follow a similar release schedule to what they used for Beast Wars, every 6-8 months we should get a new Japanese series from Madman.
Although I'd bet it might be a little longer, as they have to sub/dub these series.

how come they stopped the series in the US and they worked on it so vigerously overseas?

Like many tv series, in the US, when viewship is down, it just gets cancelled. Viewership was more popular in Japan, with the whole robot craze, that they naturally picked up and ran with it themselves.
