I say Paramont suports the name Deverstator because the Novel of the movie..... produced under linceses from Paramont.....calls the character Deverstator.

I told you I read one interview with Bay where he said he prefered the name Deverstator over Brawl.I told you I couldnt fint the intire interview but I did provide links that had parts of the interview in them.

There is also thounds of mentions to the name Deverstator in Bays bolg site.And not one mention of the character being called Brawl.

There are hundreds of articles on that site about the movie....every time the character comes up he's called deverstator.

Theres a interview with Bay about the making of the film and the character is called deverstator.

Theres a messege boards there too with a ask Mike section and all in all staement that he provided to the posters there he called the character Deverstator.

Its all there just look it up.

Also I dont know if you own the DVD but on the second Disc theres a small behind the scenes section with all the different Decepticon characters.

If it is an opinion then fine. If you're saying this as fact then you're wrong. You have no offical word from Bay saying that's his name.

So if you're saying his name is Deverstator based solely on your own opinion then you are saying the wrighters were wrong. Now if you can actully provide proof that Bay intentinally changed the name to Deverstator then you have nothing.

The name that was used in the movie was Deverstator not Brawl.That is just a fact.

I dont have to prove my theroy because that wasnt not even part of this debate.

The issue was that you said there was no Deverstator in the film and there was.

What ever the writters or the director wanted can not change the plain fact that the name Deverstator was used in the film.

And that was 100% the name of Deverstator that flashed accross the screne..

Thats still a fact and theres nothing to can say that will change that.

I think Prime will look pretty much the same. Save for some unnoticeable minor tweaks.

Hasbro can make Ultra and Deluxe of him anyway. And many other iterations of the same basic design.

i'm sure you are right along some lines about the prime figure being the same .although for the money that the movie alone would be making as well as the toy line. it would seem to me - that there is always hope to see him done -somewhat the same only new mold-"close" but just something more !!
or how about the trailer-- -maybe if it was sold along side of the prime is stores- sorta like masterpiece did. it's a cartoon brought to life-on the big screen- i think that not only should the fans get somthing in return --but to lock in the next 20 years with the new kids watching-- so don't hold back- give him(prime) the trailer- put out the seekers- and throw in some new guys --(((maybe bring back wheeljack)))not sure what to do with the trailer- but i'm sure- we can think of something---thanks for reading --try not to be to !!mean!!! everybody--these are just ideas- and hopes and dreams- i'm sure you all got --your own little dream worlds --to!!!and lots of shelf space to go along with it

To tell the truth I havent really watched SNL since the mid 90's.

Probably will resemble his G1 form a little more, none of those tiny parts will be viewable when he's in bot mode as maybe the transformers have polished up their forms to be more complete. Besides with all those moving parts exposed it'd be easy to take severe damage.

what if in the end of the 2nd movie -maybe there's a big battle --- again-- and all of the autobots and decepticons are there -prime pulls up - he transformers -and holds his battle stand(close up)---while his trailer in the backround - cracks open and 4 or 5 mincons come out and help to turn the battle around- so the autobots win??????maybe allspark powered mincons--like -- a four wheeler--a small exotic car--???--???---???-- just tring to think of a way to play a trailer in-- well gotta go--talk to you later-- rememeber be nice!!!

I'd actually prefer that they not mess with Prime's design. As for the issue of selling toys, why not do what they're good at and add more characters?

I think the main point of modifying or redesigning Prime is to sell more Prime toys in the upcoming TF2.

Who would buy Prime again, the central character, if he's still the same as TF1?

see that's what i've been trying to say the whole time- you would think that he's going to have to take on some sort of either a new truck form or just designed different--(trailer) some how- I'm sure they make alot of money with the movie-but the toys may be where the real money is? so they can't put out the same prime again? can they? well it is worth the question- where are they going to take this movie next? can't wait--- how about you?

Considering Bay's portrayal of Cybertronians, who can scan new alt modes at will, it's very likely that all or some of the remaining Autobots will have new forms.

Sounds good. But only... the idea of Transformers and its storyline may suffer.

I think they'll tweak his design a little bit but for the most part he'll still resemble how he looked in the first movie. It would be cool if they had him scan an alt. mode for a sequence in the movie. Say another semi that resembles more of the G1 version!

wow--i think your on to something there- man you sould be a writer-- if he scans something new- ((say he's under cover )) then we all get new primes for toys-- and then the old movie prime still sells in stores. only it would be sitting right next to the new alt. mode prime from when he scanned during the movie. i like it! great idea-- hopefully his new scan has a trailer-- and a new couple of autobots are inside waiting to ambush the decepticons- or wait what if it was a airforce truck(colors of prime of course) and inside the trailer there was a experimental frighter and it just happened to be jetfire--wow there's alot to hope for isn't there ---later

Story wise they dont HAVE to change anyone.

But yeah Hasbro will want some new revenue so they might change them some.

I think Optimus Prime looks fine as he is.

G1 looked wierd and if he had a face like that why did it move when he spoke?It shouldnt have moved or he should have had a mouth underneath and it still shouldnt have moved.

And the trailer was silly. It goes into him when he transforms obviously, but it is hardly aerodynamic is it.

In Armada it seemed to make sense because it turned into a base. But it still wasnt very sensible.

So no trailer at all.

First off, If they give prime a trailer it will look so *&^%$#@ stupid and thank GOD michael bay would never let that happen. It would be pointless and be to much money. And i agree the flames should stay. He looks cool and up to date with the flames Keep them as is. And i dont think they will change the characters much at all. I do think when megatron comes back, He will take a form of some type to hide from others. I dont know what form but im sure he will. I think the look of every character is fine the way they are. I am intrested to see what new characters make there way into the film.

hasbro better come with some new guys and a new prime(on 2nd movie) or that toy company won't get dime one from me -i might check out the 2nd movie though-

AT least make Prime transform properly. Not some parts flying off behind the screen.
