I was really looking forward to this one. But I have to agree with the sentiment that it does look really cheap. from the knarly face to the over long arms and the hollow legs, it's got a bit too much against it for me. shame really.
At least I have the FE one. oh well, at least that saves me some money

I ordered the FE figure of ebay along with the rest of wave 1 and now I am deffinatley glad with my decision. The first edition doesn't have fake parts (apart from the wheels above his knees), the headlights and the roof in robot mode are actually the headlights and the roof. Unlike the RID.
Thanks for the pics Azrail! I'm now really happy with my choice of shelling out the dough for the FE deluxe

Re: Transformers Prime RID Cliffjumper - Mini Review and Comparison pics
Here's my confusion:
I understand the new design being one they might want to go with because it might be cheaper to make, but they already made the molds for the First Edition (which, in my opinions, looks WORLDS BETTER). Molds are not cheap, especially ones meant to withstand significant production runs, and these two don't look like they share any common pieces.
Why invest in the first molds for the superior product, and then make brand new molds for a second one, so soon, even if that run might be a bit cheaper?

I suppose with the hollow back legs and arms it does share similar features to a KO.
