Two questions.

First, I have heard about some Wal-Mart exclusive Dinobots that were released in '03. Could someone please provide pictures and info? And second, which Blackarachnia toy should I get?

The Dinobots, well just Grimlock from Energon http://www.seibertron.com/toys/gallery. ... =0&start=0 , there is also Swoop who combines with him. As for blackaracnia, i don't know.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Grimlock
Swoop
Snarl
Sling
Triceradon
Slapper

These galleries are in the Armada section. The last 4 were originally Japanese molds, and Sling and Slapper never saw a US release until the Dinobots line.

As for Blackarachnia, that depends on your tastes. There are 3 toys made of her excluding repaints. If you ask me, you can't go wrong with Beast Machines Blackarachnia or the Universe repaint. If you don't mind importing, but love show accuracy, the Japanese Beast Wars Returns and the 10th Anniversary Reissue are the way to go. Lastly, there's the larger Transmetal if you like'em big (the first assortment even came with a removable "bra" piece). ;)

Rare, even upon their release, these guys were sold in two-packs. Most Wal-Marts got exactly two cases, usually not more than 3 at most. They were only $10 ($15?) at the time and have gone up considerably in the past year or so.

A single two-pack runs about $35 I believe.

Grimlock has "safety tail". It is shorter than other releases. Grimlock and Swoop were first released in Beast Wars as Dinobot and Terrorsaur.

The other figures are Beast Wars Neo toys, redeco-ed for the 2nd or 3rd time depending on the figure.

You should wait until Fall 2008 and get the Transformers: Animated version.

Here is another question. I am looking to purchase some Universe figures. I like Blackarachnia, Snarl, Night Slash Cheetor, and the Overbite/Repugnus two-pack. Are those figures good, and are there any other Universe figures I should purchase?
