Universe/Cybertron Deluxe 2 packs on Walmart online - and AVAILABLE

Postby Scaleface » Fri Nov 23, 2007 2:22 pm

This morning at 4:30 I noticed that the Walmart online site had the Universe/Cybertron 2-packs in stock. They are sold out now. Still, you can read the new joint bios.

After sitting out most of the most recent battles pulling guard duty and watching Earth kung fu movies, DOWNSHIFT hasn't had nearly enough adventure. Released from his duties by OPTIMUS PRIME, he goes in search of the legendary Pirate Oasis. This mythical place is a lost lake, deep in Death Valley, and the home of notorious pirate CANNONBALL, terror of the highways.

No two robots have ever been more unlike each other. EXCELLION is moody, focused and quiet, while THUNDERCRACKER loves to make noise and finds it nearly impossible to keep his attention focused on one thing -- unless that one thing is exploding right as he looks at it. It's no surprise they hate each other.

UPDATE! Although the $10 price versions sold out in a few hours, they are back online now, but they are $15!

Well, I have the molds already. But if they are ever in stock, I'd pic up the Excellion/Thundercracker 2 pack, just for Excellion.

I just love that repaint, and never did get my hands on it.

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
....sold out?!

Are people that crazy for bargains?

I'd love to see that happen at the local store, because they'll never sell 'em all off.

I bought these yesterday in-store -- I kind of hate them, actually. I don't know if it's mold degradation or what, but they don't fit together very well at all -- they're pretty much on the level of bad knockoffs with decent paint jobs and a good grade of plastic.

In fact, Cannonball even came out of the package broken -- just like a KO! -- so at some point in the next week or so I have to go back to Walmart and exchange this two-pack for another one. At least they had a ton, so I'm not worried about them selling out -- not that I'd be particularly sad if they did. I do want the Downshift (and Cannonball, if I can get one that isn't f'n broken), but the extra money could also buy me several sandwiches.

Sandwiches can transform too, you know.

Mine too had sold out. All but one 2-Pack. (which is now gone)
