Weapon: Laser Scalpel
I have GIJOES & LEGO simply because I never stopped playing with them.

when I was a kid, I was big into He-man,
and today, I think some of those figures are pretty cool..

like modulok & multi-bot.

Alot of my money that I put towards toys go to my Star Wars toy collection, but I also collect G.I. Joe, and the occasional comic book, games, movies, and Mcfarlane toys.
Thanks to the Classics line I ended up getting
"What are you?" That's what the woman asked me. Am I some sort of ghost? I still move. I still breathe. I'm still alive.

TFs are the only toys I get buuuuuuuut, I got a Darth Vader replical Laightsaber (the one with lights and sounds), an Alan Scott Green Lantern Power Battery (nice decoration, but too expensive ...), three model cars (BttF2 deLorean, 1990's Batmobile, and Ecto-1), and a cheapo Lord of the Rings One Ring.

I'm really tempted to get a replica Sword of Omens.

Um, I've got a few Bucky O'Hare figures that I found at a comic fair otherwise it's pretty much all TFs. Are we counting warging models in this? I wouldn't immediately lump them in with toys but I've been painting various Games Workshop models for the last 15 years or so.

As well as TFs, I currently collect TMNT toys (primarily from the new movie line at the moment, but I hope to branch out a bit more soon). If I had more money, I'd also buy Pokemon toys (because they're just so collectible - you gotta catch 'em all!) and Lego (because it is made of pure plastic win).

Oh, and I also buy and paint Games Workshop models for Warhammer Fantasy and The Lord of the Rings, but those are primarily for wargaming in the respective games. Again, if I had more money, I'd probably go into 40K as well.

Dinosaurs. I collect plastic figures, books, and fossil casts. I used to buy actual fossils, and I have a complete dinosaur skeleton, but I've since heard from paleontologists just how bad an effect fossil poaching is having on the field. Out in Mongolia, they've found some perfectly preserved skeletons that've had the teeth and claws carved out by poachers looking for a quick buck, effectively neutering unique specimens. Other areas have stopped allowing access to paleontologists, and still other areas have been stripped clean.

But you can get a lot more for your money with casts. I have a Tyrannosaur skull cast mounted on my wall which is quite impressive.

Certain plastic figures, like the discontinued Battat series go for a hefty price on ebay. I have a Battat Carnotaurus that was in shops 10 years ago for about $6 which would fetch as much as $60 today.

Other than that, I buy a bit of anything that catches my fancy. I bought some lego Bionicles and a Neo-Shifter last week. Not bad, and excellent value for money. I also recently saw a Hot Wheels 1960s Adam West Batmobile, and for €2, I couldn't resist.

I used to collect a lot of Dvds, particularly animated and special effects movies, but I've almost completely stopped and am waiting for the HD format war to sort itself out and become more affordable.

Thats very cool, I am sure the T rex head is impressive. Is it to scale? Must be HUGE!

I have picked up a few Transformer like molds from Takara's Brave Series. Some great stuff there, some real stinkers though.

Other than that it is all TF for me. Though I am a huge Videophile, I buy a lot of home entertainment equipment. I wouldnt consider that collecting obviously.

If it was a T.rex, it would be huge. It's a Gorgosaurus, which is a smaller Tyrannosaur, and possible ancestor of T.rex. Still impressive though. Much bigger than any land carnivore around today.

Right now I collect Transformers Cybertron. But in the past I was heavily into Playmates Star Trek 12 inch figs, Gundam and Marvel Legends.

I look back at the stuff I have and it doesn't give me the joy I used to get of buying figures. I could keep collecting, but the interest is dead.

If you dont mind me asking where did you obtain it hearing about casts really piqued mt interest there.

I have some fossils myself and would be interested in getting high quality replicas of what i could otherwise not afford

^^Same as him^^

However, I also have a fair amount of early Spawn series and a few other random McFairlane stuff.

Also, I'll pick up any cool looking action fig that I find. However, my main interests are TF and Robotech/Macross. To any purest out there, you have to collect Robotech, if you want a Battle Pod and Zentradi figs. All of my veritechs are Yamato 1/60, with a few Macross Plus and some KO's thrown in for good measure.

Other than that, I have random Universal horror monster stuff, I love that crap!

There's a few sites on the internet. It's not a cheap hobby, but for the same money any real dinosaur fossil would probably be a shapeless lump of fossil bone, or of dubious origin.

I sometimes like to look around these sites:
http://www.dinocasts.com/default.asp
http://www.baystatereplicas.com/reproductions.htm

There's a lot of good stuff, but also a lot of junk. Sculpted fossil replicas I have no interest in, some of them are pretty inaccurate.

Black Hills Institute supply a lot of museums and millionaires. Their work is top of the line and priced accordingly. It's unlikely that I'll ever be able to afford their stuff, but I do like to look around and dream.

My Gorgosaurus was one of those things that just randomly turned up on ebay. I got it for a little over a hundred dollars, which was a price I couldn't refuse.

Marvel Legends, Star Wars, Street Fighter

However,...since my collection of Marvel Legends X-Men was stolen 2 weeks ago...I'm getting out of them entirely. I just do not have the desire to hunt down every damn X-Men figure again. Too much work. I have nearly every single ML...so with much of the ML universe left to sack, a lot of my really good figures should go on eBay soon.

Star Wars I have been cutting down for a while. I still have hordes of clones and droids to sell off.

Street Fighter, I absolutely love. Never selling and praising God that the theives missed these guys:

I used to collect Power Rangers stuff: morphers, figures and zords.

Some of them are still MISB and I'm considering ebaying them since I've lost interest in it.

I also collect 1/24th scale Diecast Nascar cars. Now that I have every TF I want until animated hits I'm going to focus on those for a while.
