What transformer in your collection was the hardest to find?

I thought I would ask what figure you had to look long a hard untill you found it. For me it was sixshot not because he is hard to find but because even the reissue are going for over a $100 these days. I was luck enuff to find him for under a $100. I'm still waiting for sixshot to arrive but it will be worth it when sixshot get here. I would love to hear other members stories.

Weapon: Jawbreaker Cannon
Cybertron Blastback and Sureshock. They were the only figures I never saw in stores in 5 years of collecting.

I had to get them in Canada. Thanks Skowl.

Can I say that it's sdcc rodimus and alt prowl since I bought them online? And do I have bragging rights if I said I got both for 35 shipped? :P

Omega Supreme (Energon)
Ratchet (Botcon)

These two I literally spent years looking for.
Omega Supreme: "Constructicons?! Constructicons enemies. Enemies, DIE!"
Optimus Prime: "This is a military mission, not a vendetta, Omega."
Omega Supreme: "Results: same!"

I'll just stick with the ones I bought at a store instead of online.

Classics Starscream: I just happened to find a random one at a K-Mart. Never have seen him otherwise.

Movie Leader Prime: Bought him recently at TRU; the only other times I saw him were back in July at a K-Mart, featured inside a box that looks like it had gone through hell. The other time was when Leader Brawl first came out and I saw Prime on the bottom shelf at a Target. I chose Brawl because I intended to buy one that day no matter what, but I knew I would regret not taking Prime considering how rare he was. Yeah, it took me another 2 months before I found Prime, but I made up for it by buying a 20th DVD Prime!

Movie Voyager Blackout: He's common at TRU now in the dual package with Scorponok, but I only saw him once in his original packaging and quickly nabbed him. Never saw him again.

Classics Astrotrain: I don't know why, but I just never saw him in stores and eventually had to buy him from Amazon. Considering it was for the retail price of $10, I'm guessing he wasn't all that rare in the Amazon stockroom.

g1 soundwave. i wanted him ever since i first saw him but i never got him, of course i was 2 when he came out so that would be the main reason. i finally got him this year as the tru reissue even though it's technicly soundblaster i still consider him soundwave, same mold just a differant tape door, plus he came with lazerbeak and ravage. he was my holy grail for 20 years, now i need a new one since all the ones i want now i can find easy in the stores.

Devastator and Abominus back in 80s. Not having a source of income as a child, it took a lot of begging to get my parents to give in.

As far as lately, Concept BB. I'm glad I didn't give in to scalpers. We had a few restocks around here, but deluxes seem to have dried up again.

i'd have to say BW Basic Rattrap, Mint & Complete, and RM-22 Lio Convoy.

Rattrap because he came with a bunch of other BW toys all the way from merry England. fortunate because though i paid nearly $100 including shipping and handling, breaking down the set i nearly got this toy for free. :P considering how much a loose, complete Basic Rattrap creates a bidding war everytime one floats on eBay, i'd have to say i got a spanking great deal. 8)

Robotmasters Lio Convoy because i had to scour the whole internet just to find one, (having lost hope on eBay), finally located an obscure seller from Singapore selling a MISB one for a really great price. about $ 33 USD-converted, including shipping to our country. sweet. :D

For me its a toss up between 3 figures.
Classics Soundwave, Movie Starscream G1 Paint job, and Classics Grimlock.
The first two being exclusives I had to go out of city to get, and hadn't seen them in stores since I purchased them. With Grimlock my local Wal-Mart didn't stock him for a long time. They've only ever had 2 or 3 at the store whenever i've seen him there.
"What are you?" That's what the woman asked me. Am I some sort of ghost? I still move. I still breathe. I'm still alive.

I had to glue his arm onto him after I unpaked him!

Movie Leader Prime. Had to get a friend from another state to ship me one since she works overnight stock at Wal-Mart, and her store got 2 Primes in, so I got one of them. Only ever saw Prime over here once in a KB-toys store for 50 bucks, and the box was dented up everywhere.

I was never able to find Alt Mirage and had to trade for him. MP Starscream, which I thought would be hard to find was surprisingly easy.

Voyager Autobot Ratchet actually. I found all my TFs in stores except for him. Thankfully, forum member Cascadia was super helpful and sold me one at a very lovely price. Thanks again!

Probably Concept Bumblebee. After a lot of looking at the normal stores I finally found it at Kohl's after reading about others having luck there on these forums.

I thought Titanium G1 Magnus was going to be hard to find but it was in the first Target I checked. Too bad it sucks.

for me it was ultra magnus RID from takara(asian version) as i don't have an ebay acount or a credit card ,and my classic grimlock,i found him at a toys'r'us and had to hide him in the stores cause i don't had money this day. but hiding TF is the only way to get those you want . and if i consider that i collect transformers for only one year the alternator one are hard to find in stores, so my third one is ROLLBAR and as i don't have any money to buy him i hide him in the stores and go check every weeks if it still there..lol

(if my english is pretty basic sorry it's because i'm french !!)
