What's Up with Megs?

Postby Bonecrusher27 » Wed Sep 26, 2007 9:33 pm

Has it occurred to anyone that by some strange coincidence, all the Megatron toys are really lousy? Except maybe for my Leader Megs. Legends class, Voyager Class, Robot Replicas... for some reason they just can't seem to get him right! How difficult is it to at least get the face right?

Yeah I'm disappointed with all of the movie Megs really, they never truly represented the cool movie character, shame really.

He was cursed before the bad toys, with a really crappy movie alt mode. Probably left them with little to nowhere to go.

TO be honest Megatron in the movie was pretty **** too.

And there are three reasons why EVERY megatron toy from the movie is crap.
1: the design is ugly as sin and utterly impossible to achive correctly in toy form.
2: Megatron is metalic whitish silver. EVERY toy version is is a manky shade of grey/white.
3: His face.

Oh not this old chesnut.

An MP Movie megs would be SO complex it'd cost more than your average modern day macross. Andbe twice as fragile.

And have far to many razor sharp peices to ever be concidered safe.

And be so ugly that no one would actully want it.

And he'd still probably be the wrong colours.

And he'd STILL have that face.

The Voyager Megs represented his coolness. :P with all the crap ice and vinyl wings that feel like they're gonna tear everytime you transform him.

for $25. you'd think you'd get a more complex transformation.

1. Legs go down
2. Arms go out
3. Wings fold down

wow. how thrilling.
