I can see why people hide toys, but just because they want something doesn't make it right to do whatever they can. It's not survival of the fittest, it's first come first serve. But like at a restaurant you can't get served without paying. (Ok maybe you could but lets not go into that, it'd be like a bad sitcom episode.)
enough debating about the ethics of hiding TFs. as long as it is not breaking store rules i can see nothing wrong with it. you cannot compare hiding TFs to:
going into people's houses and tampering with the arrangement of their furnitures and mail. for one, that logic is flawed at it's very premise because BASICALLY, those things (furniture, mail, etc.) BELONG to someone else. that's called breaking and entering.
now - TFs at the store, like so many people have stressed here before, are fair game for everyone. no one's bought them yet. as long as you are willing to buy them, why not?
deprivation is not the issue here. hunting for hidden TFs are part of the game. if i stumble upon someone else's stash and have the cash AND like the TF, then why not?
the same goes for me, if someone manages to uncover my hiding place, then i understand that they have every right to buy it off. sure it's painful to lose your most coveted TF to another, but like i said, until somebody actually buys it, it's all fair game.
that's my 2 cents on this matter. 'nuff said.
the moderators gave the warning, don't push ideas so far down they'll be forced to lock this up.
this thread is about people who hide TFs, not some some rant against the morality of the same practice.
if you post here, people assume that you hide TFs, so they are interested as to what are your tactics on this matter.
ok, that's a lot off my chest.

but if we encounter surly ones, well, i hide it most often at the top shelves, where kids won't find them. LOL. kids with short-attention spans who are fueled by the movie craze and are not interested in TFs long term are the worst haha.
