I just dunno why Hound was with Kup, and then with Prime.
And was that Brawn standing next to Hound in that scene first featuring Kup?

With Kup in that first scene are Huffer, Bluestreak, Hound and Sunstreaker. Sunstreaker would also turn up piloting Prime's incoming shuttle a little later, and Hound would be seen just inside the shuttle as Prime disembarked... go fig!

Maybe Hound had come up to meet the reinforcements. The fact that we see him when the ship is on the ground doesn't make this wholly improbable. Possibly with a status report or in need of help himself.
