Why is Movie Brawl called Brawl and not Devastator?

Why is Movie Brawl called Brawl and not Devastator?

I was watching the movie last night, and noticed that the tank is called Devastator in the movie, but the figure is Brawl. What's up with that? Which came first, and why the discrepancy?

If I recall correctly, the proper name is Brawl, but Bay reffered to it as Devestator on set, and no one was aware of this li'l factoid.Ya think they would fix it on DVD or something, unless bay threw a hissy fit
