would you buy classics 2.0/war within line?
I know that line next fall wiil be classics 2.0/universe figures but I was thinking since everyone seems to love the war within line of figures and is sad to see it go. What if unstead of the redeco figures that are going to be part of the line they did a hi bred line were you got classics figure but you also got all the war within figures that have been released but also new ones that haven't been released because the titianium series got canceled. They could make war within prime and magatron voyager or ultra class figures and give them more detail. It just a thought but I would love know what you think.what I was think is like this:
wave 1: classics 2.0
wave 2: war within
and so on and so on untill they get tired of makeing them.
That way they could skip they redcos from other lines and just do ones from each of these lines.

If they could alter them to be made entirely of plastic, then I cant see why they would not release them in the Classics/Universe lines.
However I do not know if Hasbro can use the same casts for metal and plastic pieces, making new casts would be rather expensive for figures that have already been released.
Making brand new WWi themed figures from scratch would probably go down very well as well/

The War Within line sounds potentially very successful, since it could easily sell to kids who can link the figures to whatever series they wish. Whether you decide it's Movie, G1, or Animated, it's characters in their original Cybertronian forms. The collectors would definitely love it.

Heck, anything that brings War Within to life that doesn't involve die-cast is a big thumps up from me.

Totally; in fact frankly I think they should have done that from the get-go and not bothered with Titaniums at all. As I've said before, most of those figs I'd have been much happier to buy as plastic Voyager figs than the die-cast 6" jobbies they were.

YeSSS!!!
They just need to do every character featured in the story and then some.

So my idea of combining the upcoming classic 2.0/universe with war within to elemenate the need for redecos from other lines like cybertron, energon and armada would be a big success now if there was only a way to get this idea to hasbro.
Because if they did like I suggested:
wave 1: classics 2.0
wave 2: war within
starting from scratch with the war within toys they would have massvie success on there hands. There would have time to produce the new mold and do redcos of mold that work without having to go with the filler figures from older lines. The other thing I didn't say is also that they would sell enuff of these figure to more than make up for the cost of creating the new molds. Because I'm sure the people who do custom paint jobs on figures would snap up two or three of certain molds just so they could do custom figures out of them

'Course, the reason they do the repaints is nothing to do with giving them breathing space to make new moulds. It's because they've spent a lot of money making the moulds they've just got and they mean to get all the mileage out of them they can. No way they'll stop the repaints, it's too efficient a way to recoup their costs.

Pretty sure that there are ways around doing the same toys in plastic and die-cast. Consider the G1 Predacons and the whole Alt vs BT thing. No idea if this uses the same tech to turn out the figures or not, but there's certainly precedent.
