WST Dinobots cheap on eBay

Postby Rocketeer » Thu Nov 20, 2008 4:51 pm

Hey there, folks.

Today I stumbled across a really good deal on a couple WST Dinobots.
$9.99 for Grimlock/Commander, and there's 4 left.
$8.99 for Slag/Flamethrower, and there's 8 left.
Free shipping on both figures.

Granted, the auctions end soon, but I thought I'd mention.
It seemed like a good deal, and it's not exactly listed under WST or the dino names.
Here's hoping someone snags 'em.

EDIT:
On a side note, I'm thrilled I managed to snag WST Grimlock so cheap.
I was getting ready to pay a bit more than that elsewhere.
With all this talk of MP Grimlock coming out soon, I wanted a taste of the original G1 (even if it *is* only a mini-version).

Should I be getting Slag, too?
I'm not too terribly impressed by what I've seen of the figure, but I'm afraid I'll regret it later if I don't get him now.
Or should I just be happy that I caught the Grimlock I've been wanting?

Also, I've always heard good things about the WST Dinobots.
Are the good reviews pretty accurate?
Or should I have saved my money and bought a real G1 Grimlock?
Just wondering...

For that price definitely. Slag's robot mode was always a bit naff but the dino mode is beautiful. I love these things even if Swoop's head does insist on falling off.

Well, it appears that the Dinobots are listed as store items, so they didn't really end today.
Since that's the case, I think I'll wait and see how I like Grimlock before I order Slag.
There's no use for me being Slag if someone else would like him better.

But am I correct in thinking Grimlock will be frickin' sweet? :P

They are pretty cheap here, also.

Thanks for the link, Delicon.
But they don't have Grimlock. :P

Meanwhile, it seems that the folks on eBay have more of the Dinobots available.
I'm starting to wonder... is it possible that these are bootleg/KO WST Dinobots that I've read a bit about?
Granted, the WST "Dinorobots" are themselves technically KOs, but still... makes me wonder...

Whatever the case, I was sent an email saying that my Grimlock has shipped, so I'll find out soon enough.

Thanks for the heads up. I already have all of the WST Dinorobots and variants except the chase versions but now I have a couple I can open up and play with :)
