is the head on a ball joint? if it is use clear nail polish; it works like a charm.

It will add a thin layer of friction between the 2 pieces making it not so loose.

Oh yeah, my bro got me 25th universe Prime, but I knew I was getting it since I basically picked it out. :D It was only 27.99 in store at
JC Penny in Gurnee. Don't know if they will have any left though.

Not technically a Transformer. I got one of the 25th anniversary releases of a 1/55 scale Veritech fighter with FAST pack from Robotech. The one known as the Chunky Monkey, that the Jetfire mould was modified from. I'm very impressed with how solid and articulated it is for an early 1980s toy. Don't think I know of a G1 toy I'd consider better than this in terms of transformation and articulation.

Pretty large Transformer Christmas for me. I haven't been making a ton of purchases due to fiscal restraints with my portfolio tanking, law school bills mounting, and a girlfriend that's higher maintenance than a Ferrari. Thankfully my family feeds my illicit plastic figurine habit. I also procured a PS3 and several box sets but I digress.

But the most precious thing to me is an e-mail my little twin cousins wrote to Santa. I'm going to post it because to me it embodies what the spirit of Christmas really is. It's a tear jerker so be warned:

Dear Santa,
My name is Taylore Vaz. I'm sure you don't remember me out of all the kids in the world but i thought i'd introduce myself anyway. I'm sorry i didn't write a christmas list to you this year but i just couldn't find the time. Speaking of christmas i have a favour to ask. I know it's last minute but i promiss if you do this one thing for me it would put a smile on my face forever and this will be on my christmas list for the rest of my years to come until you make this wish come true. I would like you to tell god to tell my dad, John Sidonio Vaz, this message:

Hi Daddy!!
I miss you sooooo much! But i am glad that your in a happy place and you have no pain. Even though it hurts me that you aren't here, the thing i want you to be is painless and happy. So, how are things up there?? I hope you aren't spending all your time worrying about me and mikayla, because having a daddy like you, i'm sure we will grow strong. But sometimes i might need your help. Like in bowling today, i could have used alittle bit of help! lol. So Rosa tells me that i am alot like you, i'm sneeky like you, i look alot like you, i walk like you, and she even makes fun of me sometimes (in a good way). And i wanna let you know that she loves you very much, i can tell. But you could do something about that twin of mine, she is sooo annoying! Anything i do is not private. Anyway there is one more thing want to say. I will never forget your smile, your laugh, or any part of you, and..... I LOVE YOU!!
P.S. when you go to eat your slice of chocolate cake it might be gone!! hehe

I'll write you again next year, i promiss!

Taylore Vaz

After reading that the presents that I did get failed in comparison to her. Those twin girls are my whole world and I couldn't be happier this Christmas because of them.

Got the latest Universe deluxe figs, Inferno, BT Convoy, and Ultimate Bumblebee... Already had Ult BB, though, and didn't get a gift receipt. Any recommendations what to do with it? Anyone have a gift receipt for Ult BB from Target or Walmart they don't need?

That is the sweetest thing I have ever read! What a little trooper and a true hero in a teeny body!

Truly a message from the wee-ones as to the TRUE meaning of the holiday!

------------------------------------------

As for the loot I got:

1. a pre-order printout for 25th anniversary Starscream.

2. A Bayformers figure, which I will promptly return for something I actually want.

3. A hand-made afghan in my favorite colors: Purple and black.

4. A fine framed photo of my parents (best pic of dad ever!).

5. 3 lbs of ground sirloin.

6. 2 lbs of spiral-sliced ham.

7. 3 I.O.U's from my relatives for $90 in WM gift cards.

Not bad for everyone being either unemployed or on a fixed income this year!

It amazes me how an 11 year old can fully comprehend that the true meaning if Christmas isn't what you get it's what you have or have lost. Those two girls mean the world to me and are far better then any Transformer.

That being said my City Commander set is pretty awesome :P and I highly recommend trading in you bayformer for something a little more suited to your pallet... say Universe Cyclonus 8)

Somehow my father managed to get me one toy from each current toyline-what I mean by that is:

Movie Voyager Rescue Ratchet-I was hoping for Movie Evac, but this guy is cool-a big, sturdy alt-mode and a cool transformation sequence...and quite an imposing robot mode, even if his weapons are a little stupid (Giant claw and butterfly axe?!)..

Universe Heavy Load-Actually quite fun to play with, and a good backstory too.

Animated Deluxe Jazz-The cyber ninja himself. Awesomeness all 'round, apart from the fact that his bloomin' chest keeps flipping up when I try to pose his arms...

Overall, even though my presents are being cut down to just a few transformers each year, I still get a few good figures. :)

My girlfriend got me a Megatron poster, a movie legends two pack (Jazz and Bonecrusher), and Universe legends Starscream.

My Mom, brother, and sister sent me Transformers Risk as well as a gift card to Toys R Us with the instructions to specifically use it on Transformers. I put it and some other Christmas money/gift cards towards Universe Unicron which I bought first thing this morning!

I also picked up Universe Galvatron and Cyclonus for 7.77 each at Walmart with Christmas money/gift cards.
