Funny you should mention that Tyco set. I don't have the train, but I do have the little rubber robot men from it. They look sort of like generic Transformers decoys.

Some people have got some great rare TF's, I'm particularly jealous of the Galaxy Shuttle and Countdown set. I don't have anything too rare although I've got the chase versions of the Sixbuilder, Sixturbo and Landcross Japanese reissues as well as most of the chase WST's. Oh and Kakaryu - the really stupid dino from Victory.

Here is a picture of my mish-mash Jetfire. The Autobot symbol is from a knockoff Superion. The tail, robot back, gun, right arm, and boosters are from the veritech knockoff. I have most of the accessories now too, half are from the real toy, half from the knockoff veritech.

Nice way to raise the bar, I've been looking for Galaxy Shuttle. The KO is easy enough, but thats cheating!

Seeing him on the CountDown platform though, I may have to turn this hunt up a bit!

Mine was the original Arcee prototype. But that was almost ten years ago now.

I thought this was supposed to be "your rarest" Transformers thread and not a pissing contest of collecions. If people are going to start posting the top 50 of their collections, this thread is going to be locked.

This is pretty tough for me to answer...

I don't have many rare Japanese G1 Transformers.

Outside of those, what really counts as rare? I have a C9 Victory Leo that I love to pieces...but is a regular release from Japan rare? I don't know...

Very likely, in terms of sheer production numbers, my Micron Booster 3 Bug General is probably the most rare toy I have.

Other than that, I have numerous toys that have <1200-1000 production units.

Vic, on the bottom shelf on the left.

I love my Victory Leo too CP, and I would consider JP released G1 a sort of rarity simply because of the value of them and their scarcity here.

I don't disagree.

One thing I really want to do when I get into a new place to live, is do some pictures of the Japanese main-line exclusive releases (Toy Dreams, etc).

I know they aren't particularly difficult to come across right now, but in terms of numbers produced, they're kind of rare.

See I was gonna give you props on the figures still on trees!

Galaxy Shuttle rases the bar cause it's shown on a base that I have complete with 3 of it's platforms waiting to either be sold or used(I'm out of shelf space)

Now don't get me wrong, I like what you're showing, ALOT! But your rubbing it in, not sharing all happy like, so now I gotta rob ya.

I don't wanna do it(thats a lie), but it'll be a valuable lesson.

It's cool what you got, enjoy it while you can, but for me it's about fun, not competion.

Sides, I'm $1500 close to Black Zarak, I'm trying not to get my hopes up on him right now or else I'll dump my bill money on top of that to get him. I'll have a rare bot, but what good is that without a home to keep it in?

I do collect this for fun, not to laude my collection over others, or prove this or that. It is for me. I have never posted one of those self promoting collection shares. I usually just stay mum. It's been a tiring last 3 months for me, so maybe I let my guard down.

It's hard for me to say. I don't collect a lot of foreign stuff so my list would be ho-hum compared to others. I do have the Ehobby Thundercracker Skywarp Robot Masters set (I think I still have 3-4 of those) and last year's Botcon set. At one point I had a Bumper but since have sold him.

Man I was only joking with you, I had no intent on turning anything ugly. I do have to admit that I love collection pics though. It's a nice way to see what the other guys got and pick up information about the gimmicks and quality of certain figures, as well as share ideas on how to display this, that, and the other thing.

I don't see anything self promoting about sharing that, to me they're like a inhouse convention without a cover charge or travel.

Still, I was only joking. It seems like you took it as more, so sorry, it wasn't my intent to push buttons.

But to add to topic, this isn't a TF, but I'm gonna mention my working Air Raders Command Center, with all the parts, and 27 figures. For those who don't know, Air Raders was a 1 season toy line with figures about the size of a MASK figure, they had some pretty cool looking vehiciles with air bag rocket launchers that never worked. I concider this rare cause 1, most people never even herd of this line. 2, most who did took firecrackers to these toys back in the 80's.

As I said, it's not a TF. It's not worth much outside of sentamental value. However it is complete and then some with the avalanche rocks and all. This is rare in itself to say for so many toys that barely had a minute to belly up to the wayside of toy lines such as TransFormers, GIJoe, Ninja Turtles, Voltron, Masters of The Universe, and so few others that we choose worthy of remembering.

G1-color MP Starscream,which i think for the uk is a rarity,either way I love him

I guess mine is the Best Buy exclusive Metallic Megatron.

So far I would have to say the 2007 Botcon set is the rarest that I have.
