YAY!
I love it! For alot of the toys, the automorph feature is really cool, and shows off some great engineering talent!
It's a cool gimmick that I find adds to the toy, but doesn't detract from it. Prime, Starscream and 08 Bumblebee are great examples of cool Automorph features that don't get in the way of playability...

I think they are alright... but they break to easily.]
At least the tried something different I guess... they really went awesome with the Ultimate Bumblebee.

Yay AND Nay.
Yay for Automorphs in the Leader figures, and Nay for the Voyager and Deluxes. Some of them are rather nice, but I don't like how fragile they are. I would rather have a good quality, solid figure that works great, looks great, and will last than have cheap gimmicks in them than can wear out or worse, break.
They are better than the Cyber Planet Keys, and Minicon things though. By a lot.

makes me wonder if anyones got a working BlackOut. Sounds like everyones AM is busted on him.
I was going to take him apart to realign the gears like someone here said, but I just read that he did it a number of times and it keeps slipping back to F'ed-up-id'ness.
It doesn't count as an auto-morph, but I gotta say when I discovered the button that makes the blades spin in alt mode, I definitely had a, "Damn that's cool!" moment.

Better than Cyber Planet keys indeed. I don;'t have a huge issue with automorph itself, but advetising it as a special feature feels like pushing a toaster on the idea that it pops up again after the toast is done.
Minicons are still the best new gimmick in a while, if only because it's essentially a free little secondary figure.

I am too afraid to know. When I got him in July, I transformed him into robot mode, and he's been that way ever since.

My Blackout's Automorph is fine.
I wonder why Automorph is so much more popular than Cyber Planet Keys. Not that I dislike Automoprh; I love it, but I also like the Keys too.
