It seems that the USAF is taking a cue from the "Robots in disguise" playbook... They call them bug bots or Micro Air Vehicles... The video was interesting to watch, the bird type reminded me of Laserbeak,or BW Airrazor, and the "swarm bots" were very insecticon like in appearance. I found it funny that they mentioned how these "bots" could "be hidden in plain sight" - sound familiar?

Why does the airforce logo at the end resemble an altered G2 Decepticon logo?

Accidentally.
Back from the dead, like some curious zombie amalgam...

Re: Air Force Bugbots - RID?
On the one hand, that's really cool. In any number of Comic Book/Video Games/Fantasy Stories there's always some kind of device like this. But the fact that it's being produced is pretty amazing.
On the other hand, I gotta admit it is a little scary. I highly doubt anyone's going to be watching me, but the idea that an innocent looking ladybug could be a camera would drive someone crazy. Also, not sure about the part of these camera's being lethal. Is that really a good idea?
All in all, it's neat, and I suppose it'll be awhile, if ever, that it sees production.
