Since we do already know that Transformers: Prime will be set in a Movie-like universe, does this really mean that all characters will be based on their Movie counterparts?

We know its from a movie like universe? When did anyone ever say that. I thought it was based off WFC

You mean, you don't know? Remember a picture of the Transformers: Prime Bumblebee that was posted earlier this year? Based on Bumblebee's appearance from Transformers: Prime, he is a lot more like his Movie counterpart. With that said, will all other Transformers be based on their Movie counterparts, or only just Bumblebee and certain other characters for the cartoon?

I don't think we'll really know until we see more pictures. I haven't heard anything about that though. Personally I hope they will be a little more traditional than the bayverse ones if that's the case.

We can't assume so much. We only saw a quarter of Bumblebee for goodness sake.

And it's not like any of us would know. We know as much about Prime as you do, so you'll just have to stick around and wait till Hasbro/Discovery leaks more information out. I'm thinking we'll know alot more after Botcon.
