Well, no there's not. Talked to a friend in Mayfield, and apparently the Hobbytown USA has been closed for years

Well, then I would definately order the catalog from Plastruct and then order parts from them directly. If you plan on doing kitbashing or scratchbuilding, you will need styrene and acrylic.

It seems that'll be the only way.
There are two stores that sell in Nashville, TN though. That's too far out of the way for a special trip, but close enough that I'll check it out the next time I'm down there. I'm just hesitant to order it online without ever handling the stuff first.

Got tired of looking at my sculpted BB head, so I went looking at his other head styles (original minibot head, Goldbug, movie, etc.). The G2 Gobot version seemed to be the easiest to pull from an existing Alternator head, so I set to work..

I'm happier with him now, even if it is a less iconic look.
Also, I CAN FINALLY TAKE THIS PICTURE

I agree with asphalt, not really bumblebee-ish,but it's a really nice design for an alternator, also,i can see the head working as a tarantulas head if it gets some new paint.
Anyway,cool bash you got there.

To be honest, depending on what you consider 'Bumblebeeish' you could say the cartoon doesn't look anything like him (certainly not much like the original toy). Personally I think it's nice to see other versions get referenced. Any chance you'll respray him in gold? That'd kick arse!

actually forget about G2, with the color scheme you have it looks like the G1 toy since G2 was just a gold repaint. And yea, the first two versions of bumble (or rather bumble and goldbug) both have heads similar to that.
till all are one.

Actually, I wasn't referring to the G2, rather the Gobot (Spychanger) version. As Clay said, the face looks more like that version than anything, so I just thought it'd be cool to do the shell in gold to match.

No horns yet, but I added a door mod to throw a Classics reference in. The mish-mashing continues!
