Thought this might be of interest to some folks... looking around on my Rhapsody music service, and I found that the band American Hi-Fi did a cover of the original Transformers theme. What's more, it's tied into a follow up to Saturday Morning: Cartoon's Greatest Hits. So there could be more 80's goodness coming out of the album. Even more interesting, the single is listed as a radio release, so it's possible we could be hearing this on the air sometime in the future.

It's apparently also on iTunes, and I would guess other music services as well.
