Or maybe I have, I haven't scrutinized the pics too closely.

The hands store inside the feet, which are used as "power up" parts for him in both robot and vehicle modes. As far as I can tell he doesn't have a big external breastplate, the combiner torso is mainly just alternate ways of turning the solo robot arms etc.

Of course, Computron is kind of a perfect combiner for kibble, since it's all sci-fi vehicles that don't have to look like anything in particular.

I know that pic was a bit random but i felt like pulling it out of the vault and showing it off a bit. With the upgrades it's a great looking Superion. It's not the best integration of parts and is awkward in the arms but the legs are great and overall it enhances the original immensely.

On a side note i like this Superion because you can transform the arms in two different styles. Tall or bulky like i have him here in this pic.

I'm really hoping the upcoming Hasbro Superion looks like this.

Agreed! And presumably, since it is not designed as an upgrade to work with an existing piece, it will hopefully be more cohesive in all modes. (I've been tempted on occasion to get the FP Superion, but I just can't escape the feeling that, while they did a decent job, they just didn't manage to pull it off quite as well as they did with Bruticus.)

The only thing that is a point of contention for me with this upgrade is the arms. They most certainly are not perfect and to be honest are a bit awkward.
With that being said it is leaps and bounds better than what Hasbro did with the original arm design.
To reverse engineer a set of arms from what they had to work with and pull it off "successfully" is nothing to scoff at.
If your on the fence about purchasing it i would say hold off and wait for another Superion if and ever that may happen but i have no regrets buying this kit.
I think the time has come and passed for Superion for both Hasbro and 3rd party releases.

But didn't Hasbro tease us with a Superion silhouette and a statement to something of the effect of 2015 being the year of the combiners, recently?
