Well, i rewatched it recently and yes, i wept buckets when Starscream died, the character in Armada was so much better than the way his personality was created in G1 because he DID have honour and courage.
Alexis's crush (?) on him was sweet but just had my complimentary commentts on YouTube deleted because a load of teenage girlies insist he and Alexis were a couple!
Ok, it's an age-old parable that appears in movies, stories etc that a 'baddie' can be converted by the faith and friendship of an innocent child, that's why she cared for him so much but she is a child so how could they be a couple?!
Anyone agree?

yeah 'cause his personality is still kinda unlike his original tech specs though, in Armada he wasn't cruel, even before Alexis got her mitts on his guilt chip,lol!

Yea he did, but Sixshot had some kind of relationship with Daniel.

Those aren't the reasons why Armada rocks the socks.

I should probably watch more of Armamda before saying this but from what little I've seen I don't really like it a whole lot. Screamer in Armada wasn't bad lookin and why did Alexsis like Screamer someone explain to me.To me why would she even care about Starscream she is on the Autobot's side! Alexsis isn't even all that pretty when I first saw Armada I thought she was a dude! I mean it confuses me!

I must admit that I was expecting something far different to be mentioned, rather than the Screamer ideas.

But Armada is a decent series, not the best Transformers series, but it is still far superior to many shows aimed at the same target audience.

First of all, you're right. Armada Starscream rules!!!
I love him!!
But I don't see Star and Alexis as a couple...
I mean children can certainly have crushes on adults. I'm sure Starscream cared about Alexis, but I don't think it was romantic love.

Armada Starscream was based upon Beast Wars Dinobot.

As for his realtionship with Alexis...how did it come about. Well basically he was turned traitor by Sideways. I'm not sure exactly when, but I think at some point he impressed her with something, and she just sort of grew to like him. I'm not a really big fan of Alexis. I mean I feel for her, but she seemed to eager to make comments.

Eh, I wasn't a big fan of Armada Starscream. I thoguth he was too much a douche for my tastes. And not a good G1 Stasrscreamesque douche way, I mean in a "I'm a girl's blouse." kinda way.

personality wise yeah he was ...It makes me cry...oh well his voice matched because it sounded like he swallowed a gallon of gravel before the show .He didn't have cute little seeker feet for G1 sake! *sigh*Am I the only one who thinks Alexsis looked like a dude ? Maybe if Screamer and Alexsis were *couple* (ewwww just saying that is freaky!)how did they come to be and did Starscream leave the Decepticons or something? Those last couple (ewww there is that word again) posts confused me.

Alexis did look boyish in that Manga kinda way. I think she was only like 13 years old or something-how could they be a couple?!
Armada was also a bit more serious than G1 i think but i didn't like how they changed the appearances of some characters and so many were missing.

thank goodness I am not the only one who thinks that.and here's to you Ms.Alexsis please slap on some make up and get a better haircut start hanging out with girls so you look like less of a guy also she needs to be hurt...a lot...along with those other kids...because I hate them...a lot...

Not a huge fan of the toon or the toyline but Armada was elevated, at least in my opinion, to greatness by the PS2 game. Not dissing anyone who likes the toon by the way.

Amazing cut scenes (especially loved Prime's interrogation of Starscream), nice G1 references and excellent gameplay? When Tidal Wave towers over Prime, Hot Shot or Red Alert, depending on who you're using, it just blows the mind.

That said, Dreamwave made a brave stab with the comics especially the Worlds Collide storyline and the fight between Armada Megatron and G1 Galvatron.

well Siren Prime I'm a weird person who hates the Armada kids! well...from my standpoint chicks dig the brooding loner bit. that and armada starscream is the manliest starscream ever (not a backstabbing coward and will not be alpha q/energon megatrons poodle) or for some reason the writers felt that the autobots already has 2(3?) tf-organic female pairings so why not the cons this time?

i agree, i really love the way Screamer's depicted. Interesting how, in Energon, the kids are actually young adults even tho it was some 10 years later so Alexis was indeed about 13 in Armada. She also doesn't seem love struck by him any more. I think the makers af Armada never intended anything romantic to be misconstrued about their friendship.
