I held off on getting the Predacons until this week. I found the Predacons Rising Abominus set in Target for $8.00 CAD and then Skystalker and Lazerback for $5.00 CAD each at Walmart.
Now that I have half of them I need to get the rest haha. In everyone's personal opinion, which Predaking mold works best when displayed with the rest of the Predacons? Beast Mode/Robot Mode, give me some pros and cons of each

You really can't go wrong with the 2014 Simplified Voyager that's out now. The one from last year is decent, but he can't hold his (tiny) sword 9 times out of 10 thanks to his rubbery claws. His launchers resembling dragon heads is better than the launcher the 2014 one comes with tho. The Ultimate Beast Fire Predaking is a toss-up, and depends on what you want in a figure. He's bulky, heavy and features lights, but suffers because of those gimmicks.

Re: Best Prime Predaking?
I just ordered the "simplified Voyager", and although I haven't gotten my hands on it yet, I'm confident that it's the best version EVEN BEFORE considering the fact that it's also the best value for your dollar. $20 for a Leader-scale figure that actually looks better than the real Leader version.
I already have the previous Voyager, and it looks too small when displayed with the other "dragon" figures. It's just not imposing enough.

an eagerly awaiting the new "simplified" one popping up in shops. He looks the best of the bunch to me. Placement of the wings alone would have done it, but the fact that they're translucent and that he's a big beast compared to the earlier Voyager seal the deal.
I'd maybe get the light-up one for a fiver or so.

Simplified voyager is the best, he scales very nicely with deluxe and voyager figures in the series and has better proportions in beast mode.
Beast Fire is still nice but is a little too expensive and as others have mentioned the gimmick is actually detrimental to the figure.
The original voyager looks good in robot mode IMO, however he is not really in scale. I've noticed on mine that his wings are a little loose, so he can't hold a decent pose in beast mode for long without them drooping.

Re: Best Prime Predaking?
Got my upscaled Voyager last night. He is awesome! I don't know why they call it a Voyager when it's Leader-sized.
Cons: A bit kibbly, limited articulation.
Pros: It's just a great looking figure in both modes: great colors, great use of translucent plastic, cool details. It's BIG; for $20, it's one of the best values I've ever seen in a TF figure. And despite it's large size (and because of it's simlicity), it's very solid. In bot mode, nothing droops, and nothing is loose. All of the joints are very stiff (or ratcheted). A kid could abuse this figure and probably never break it.
