Becuase I need it for a scale picture. I have neither figures at the moment, and I want to see how big Grimmy is. If he is bigger that Prime, I may get him.

If my memory serves me correctly, Grimmy is a little bigger/taller than Prime.

Is G1 really necessary? Or can the G2 repaints suffice? I've got G2 Optimus and G2 Blue Grimlock. If those'll do, then I can have that picture for you by 6 PM tonight. Of course, if you're quick in responding to this post, of course...

Yeah, that'd be fine if they are the same molds as their g1 counterparts...

^ I'm sure they'd be fine, since he only wants a height comparison.

Prime was released as a leader figure. And if I'm not mistaken, the Dinobots were pretty much somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager size. Closer to Voyager, than anything...

The thing about Prime in those days being a leader class was that he just ended up being a deluxe sized toy. The entire size of him in truck mode made him huge. Everything was gravy then:

But then you turned him into robot mode, and thing went... Well, downhill.

Having Prime and Megs be show equals but Megatron being able to bench two or three Optimus at once... Probably why we started seeing Primes with trailers combine with their trailers. RID, Galaxy Force, etc...

Thats a Generation 2 Megatron. It was Galvatron that first out sized a Prime and that was Rodimus Prime.
When they brought back Prime in the toyline it was as a powermaster and he could combine with his trailer
