Re: Blackarachnia costume question
Thanks everyone for helping me out. It seems that it is about 50/50 Animated vs BW original. I will not be posting pictures, but if I do manage to get the costume complete and get the guts to wear it at Botcon, then you should be able to take pictures and post them.
Do keep up the suggestions, it really is helping and giving me more ideas. If I go with high heels they could be platform heels not stilettos. It might not be show accurate, but safety first.

The final crucial decision between Animated and BW...
Toss the coin!
Try it. Sometimes it has an effect of drawing you towards one of the choices.

Did anyone else automatically think of that Futurama episode when reading this?

What's a "Futurama episode"?

(My suggestion was based solely on personal experience.)

Futurama was a verry popular but short lived series by the creators of the Simpsons. It was canceled because the Fox executives didn't like it.
One of the episodes involved an alternate universe where coins somehow landed on the oppisite side so every choice the characters made with a coin toss was oppisite from the main stream universe.

This. ^^^
You'll either be all "Yay! That's what I wanted to do!" or "Damn, I wanted the other one!" in which case you'd then go with said other one.
Vast.
