Christ. Is there a scene that doesn't have any advertising in it?

There is plenty without them, I just ignore most of that garbage, it's just another way to help pay for the movie is all, nobody forces anyone to buy that stuff so it's not like they made it into a totally obvious shot in the movie where the action or storyline stopped and everyone turned to the camera and said "Buy mountain dew".

More advertising = more money = better TFs
And besides, it's not like real life isn't full of adverts anyway. Everywhere you go there are brandnames, billboards...

Hooray! I got someone to agree with me, can't remember the last time this happened...

But seriously, everytime you see someone wearing white headphones, it's an advert for iPod. Apple have bloody great glowing logos on the back of their computers, just in case you don't guess it's an Mac. Many labels on food and drink are made to be as eye-catching as possible not only so one person will buy them, but also anyone else who sees that person eating/drinking the product will see that logo and go "hmm, they bought that, it must be okay, maybe I should as well."

Despite all the product placement, its not as bad as Adam Sandler movies.
In Adam Sandler movies, products become a big part of the story.
Click-The movie takes place in the Beyond section!
Eight crazy Night-disgusting
here products just show up. only the cars are a big role and nobody just points and talks about it
Noone says the word Topkick, or Solstice, or Hummer. Noone points out that its a Mountain dewbot. Noone says hey Sam what are you doing. by the way i'm at Burger King.
also Apple and HP are there cause they look better on camera than other computers. not because its product placement. well at least apple says that.

Porche was just there. Porche wouldnt fund Transformers and therefore its not Product placement.
its product placement when its there and the company is making money from it.
and adding to the list:
The boombox Frenzy becomes
Mikaela's vespa scooter
Radioshack
and all the companies that made military vehicles
